I can't decide which is funnier. This lame 2-point conversion attempt, or yesterday when Tyrique Stevenson taunted the Commanders' fans right before giving up the game winning hail Mary pass. Two of the most hilarious plays in the NFL in recent memory.

What makes it worse is that this one was actually meant to be snapped and played. And like only two of the offensive players actually even tried. But they aren't "planning on making changes" to the coaching staff. Sure, I'll believe that if Daboll still has a job by Super Bowl Sunday.
@williamblackfyre48662 ай бұрын
....its got to be worse since the Colts play was only supposed to draw the other team offsides and was never meant to actually be snapped. It looks like the Giants are actually trying to run some kind of screen but without the trickery that accompanies a normal RB screen or TE/WR bubble screen.

@DoctorNovakaine2 ай бұрын
The best/worst part? The way the Steelers are set up, it probably works if the Giants blockers actually give a shit. There's only three Steelers really set up to defend against the five Giants, and they're set so far back that the Giants have room to set the blocks farther forward. You can see two Steelers who look like they might try to get around the wall from inside, but the outside is unprotected so that probably doesn't work. This is one of the almighty botch jobs I've seen. It's so bad it's funny, unless you're a Giants fan.
@DoctorBiobrain2 ай бұрын
I suspect that was Jones’s thinking and he snapped the ball before the Steelers could get better positioned but it was his own guys who weren’t ready.

@@DoctorBiobrain Yeah, 5 Linemen and a RB, vs 2 or 3 Steelers, should be an easy score.
@DoctorBiobrain2 ай бұрын
@@Poisonedblade Except the Steelers were moving into position to cover that. That's why Jones snapped the ball, because he saw they weren't ready and that's the only way the play works. But the joke was on him, since his own guys were even less ready. And if you look at the freeze frame right before the RB got the ball, there were seven Steelers ready to deal with it including Highsmith and two other guys who were coming in behind the blockers while the linemen are still frozen in place. This is the NFL and the Steelers have a well coached defense, unlike the poorly coached Giants offense. Btw, I think that's four linemen, a RB, and a small receiver. And the receiver was checking with the ref to make sure he was in the right place when the ball was snapped. That's why he looks at Highsmith like he did something wrong when he blew right by him. There has to be a gap between the receiver and the lineman next to him and Highsmith went right through the gap.
