That's kinda like saying someone shouldn't publicly talk about their girlfriend if their hair color is part of the person's preference. It's fine if you don't like it, but insulting people who like it and/or publicly showing it lawfully is pretty much dumb. It's a bit understandable if you were talking about being forced to see one (even if it's an average wedding). @@Yesi-jt8uo I went to a convention a few weeks ago. It didn’t smell. In fact, there’s perfumes made specifically for Fursuits and to clean them. Of course, like any convention, there are going to be exceptions, but the vast majority were clean and didn’t smell. You have to understand that most of these costumes cost thousands of dollars. It’s basically the equivalent of buying and keeping a custom-made formal suit that you chose the design and fabric patterns for. Due to its price and the fact that it’s literally made for you, people would hate to ruin it, and if it were dirtied, they would require immediate dry cleaning. I’m not saying there aren’t gross, degenerate furries (there definitely are, and there are a LOT of weird ones (obviously)), but there’s also a large population that are normal.

It’s gross, and some of the ones that are actually criminals are not even worthy of being considered people, in my opinion (see Deadwing’s Vids on the Zoophiles and Pedos). Many can be super reactionary, too. I was directing traffic at a con, a few weeks back, and because I told some guy he couldn’t exit through the entrance doors, he came back and tried to start a fight with me over an exit sign. That’s not even the first time a furry’s been douchey to me. Another tried to alienate an entire club from me because we differed in political opinions. He approached a group of them at a meeting I was absent from. Thankfully nobody believed him, but it was still super shitty.

Actually, that’s the only one I thought was cool in concept, despite the execution ending up like trash bags… The heart in its mouth was a dead giveaway. It’s Ammit, the Egyptian god associated with death along with Anubis. What Renekton from League is meant to be inspired by. Ammit is traditionally depicted as a female entity made from a crocodile head, lion arms/torso and a hippo back end. The story of your heart being weighed against the feather on the scales is a fairly well known one. If you have been a good person, Anubis let’s you continue on your journey to immortality, but if your heart is heavier then Ammit eats it and you’ll be a wandering evil spirit. I’m not really into the furry shit besides appreciating the technical aspect of the suits. I do some larp and cosplay but generally just love making costumes and props so I can’t say some of these aren’t truly impressive when taken care of and done well, but the Egyptian mythos take was actually kind of cool. As someone who wants their own furry wedding, these are terrible and embarrassing 😅 Have a separate, normal wedding for family, then do this as a "second wedding" sort of thing, and then make it absolutely incredible. Don't do it as a panel at a con, that's just sad. Get realistic suits, special for the wedding (you'd pay well for a dress), go into the woods on a full moon, and howl with your entire pack with your new mate as your hearts become one, because that's at least epic enough to justify the associated cringe

It was quite enjoyable, and it was awesome that they included everyone at the convention.
