So your not coming across no hit reg? I’m jw I thought I was bad at this shooter till I noticed my shots just weren’t counting even though I was getting hitmarkers. So I got the DB shotgun to test my theory, 35 ping using a 4090 on a 1440 1ms response monitor. I can shoot someone (get a hitmarker) 180 and let them shoot me in the back and their health is still 100/100. Almost 1/2 of my fights go this way it seems to get worse after about 12 am -5 am. I’ve noticed it’s not so bad in peak hours but still happens. I’m just saying reg is so bad sometimes you can only use weapons that 1 shot and even then you have to dodge around and bhop. Or headglitch and play slow but that really seems to make more irritated. Post up with the acr or the m249. No hit reg is just bad bad rn

One recurring problem in this genre I’ve been seeing is sweaty players complaining about the game rather than getting good at it. It’s what brought down Battlebit Remastered. The balancing got ridiculously lopsided to the point where smgs could kill a guy in full body armour in less than a second, but all the updates went into nerfing snipers because the people kept complaining about snipers killing them from far away, you know the very thing a sniper is supposed to do. I hope this particular game doesn’t fall into the same trap.

Those are fake “sweats” if you’re good at the game, you’re good. The people complaining have benefited greatly from SBMM and it shows. Which makes the game that much enjoyable. Good players aren’t held down by some BS.

​​@@KRAK7That's untrue. Snipers need to be toned down. They're too forgiving and have little to no flinch when shot. And the janky hit detection doesn't help either. Only then you will be able to tell who's good with snipers and who's abusing the most consistent weapon in the game. Currently doesn't take much skill and a headglitcher can effectively stop an enemy push on escort.

Im 34 years old and have been having so much fun on this game! I have a 6 year old 2080Ti and I came run the game on medium settings at 1440p and hit my monitors 180Hz with no issues. Been using controller so far but plan on trying out KBM soon. Im only like level 20 but it’s been one of those games where I get on it, and I don’t realize that Ive been playing for like 4 hours. On COD, I have to force myself to play it just to unlock some things and don’t even have fun doing it. I recently moved and my internet went from AT&T 375 down 375 up and a 3ms ping to Xfinity 50 down and 10 up and a 23 ping and it still feels good.

The one complaint is the hit reg. But once they improve/fix it, the game will go from good to great. Bunny hopping is a thing, but it's a symptom of the issue since it's a way of exploiting the hit reg.

My only issue with the game currently is the fact that in a lot of matches I've played, the enemies typically just run Echelon and Vector, it's not every single match, but there was a good stretch my friends and I had to go against pretty much only that combo

I don't play many AAA FPS games, but all the games I have played for at least a couple hours (CS:GO, CS2, Halo: Infinite and The Finals), the players in XDEFIANT are definitely the last sweaty I've ever seen. Also, hit registration is fine. I'm pretty bad at FPS games, but I noticed that one time I got an instakill because I landed a headshot. That was a nice feeling.

Imo, the network has been a bit of an issue for me, a lot of blasted behind walls and delayed kills leading to my death neck of it. But it's a fun game regardless, just needs some smoothening out on some aspects. And sweats are welcome, sometimes you're just not gonna be as good as someone. Just wish I could get some sweats on my own team sometimes 😅

Imma be honest, the argument that “if you want more realistic movement join the marine corps” is just, dumb. Other than that, great video. Overall, I’ve had a good experience with the game. It’s a really interesting concept that’s executed well. And the fact that it’s free to play is a big plus, helps me to ignore some aspects of the game that are a bit lacking(which hopefully will be fixed in the future)

Hit reg is seriously bad on my end rn. It varies from match to match that’s what I don’t understand. And my ping may go from 35-45 but it shouldn’t be a noticeable difference so bad that I have to use one shot weapons just to get a kill. But the DB does help with hit reg you just have to play flanky and I wouldn’t say campy but definitely strategic when the no hit starts flaring

Cons: Hit registration and getting shot through walls. Especially getting shot through walls. I can’t count the number of times this has happened. My other problem are the sweats. Not good players, sweats(there’s a difference) I’ve run into so many sweats it’s insane. And the girl with Wallhacks is pretty op. I understand the fact that everybody has special ability’s,but some are clearly better than others. For example who is actually using the cleaners? Playing against the deadsec spider is also pretty bad since if it sticks to you you’re dead no matter what. And bunny hopping gives you superpowers. Pros:The maps are super fun and colorful (I will say tho there are some maps where the spawns are terrible and you get picked off and killed as soon as you spawn). There is an obvious skill gap and you feel yourself getting better the more you play the game. I personally didn’t enjoy the game until hours of playing it. Most guns are viable and usable. The game is very fun. My fav cod game was cod 4

I personally really like the map design. I'm still learning some of them but they're not overly complicated, there's plenty of cover and alternate routes and they look great. The counterpoints you make are solid. Though I'm confused on some of the guy's takes, and he really outs himself as a low skill player. Ragging on ESP was the most obvious one. That ability is fun, but it a weaker ability. If you are an FPS vet worth your salt, you should intuitively know where people are 99% of the time. Other than helping me time a shot on someone peaking me, ESP hasn't helped me figure out where people are, and it's the ability I run most, lol. And I simply do that because of the slim character model and utility for lining up a shot, since I don't care about fragging abilities, nor do I need them.

"TTK feels very very long" that's odd it feels pretty average to me. Especially with the way mw3 feels with all the ping and packet loss issues from the sbmm/eomm. In fact when I was playing mw3 multiplayer it felt almost identical to full plates warzone fights to me and it seemed off because mp is supposed to be faster than warzone... Regarding hit registration, no cod I've played has had "good" hit registration. The difference ultimately ends up being why is a f2p game basically on par on launch with a $70 CoD title 6 months into it's life cycle? 😂😂😂 Mfers are just making up reasons to be mad at XDefiant when everyone who has played CoD knows all these problems are just as bad, if not worse in some cases on CoD.

Yes, it takes a lot of skill to combat the skill-based damage. really funny how when i dominate a lobby with sniping my bullets magically do only 90 damage on chest height. Very interesting!

What's probably happening is you get overly comfortable when you're doing good, and you stop focusing on where you're hitting on the body. Snipers only one shot from the *upper* chest and above, so that has a more noticable effect when your aim goes softer and you start hitting stomach shots out of habit

It is NOT basically old CoD. Thousand plus hours in every cod from 2007-2012, can verify in NONE of them could you spam bunny hop to become unshootable while maintaining perfect aim on your gun. Running into people who just abuse this mechanic takes the fun out of it. It's a design choice that is a giant flaw. I love getting matched against better players, hate SBMM, have no problem getting stomped and learning. My problem is simply that the game should not reward you for spazzing out on the jump button, with no corresponding penalty. What I wanted was CoD 6v6 with no SBMM. What I got was Halo 2 pretending to be CoD.

What actually would happen is your second jump would be weak and tiny unless you let it cool off for a second - making you a sitting duck - and your aim would be worthless while jumping unless you were quickscoping. It was not a tactic in CoD because the games weren't stupid enough to let it be a tactic. It was totally a tactic in Halo, although it wasn't broken like they made it in xdefiant. You think nobody ever tried just doing the same thing in CoD they did in Halo, until Warzone magically opened our eyes more than a decade later? Xdefiant is designed in such a way that allows bunny hopping to be viable (and beyond). It's a deliberate choice just as much as not including the ability to go prone. They're trying to make it more frantic "arena" type action and they overshot the mark on the jump mechanic by a mile.

Plus points for calling it Vantard, but honestly, recoil patterns suck. CS might be a very popular game, but the patterns being a part of the game doesn't add anything to it. If you're new you won't be able to hit shit and if you're proficient at the game it's a non-issue. They are a thing you have to learn "just because" and not because it adds anything to the game. The aim (hah) of the game is to point your gun at the enemy and hit them. It's like if Dark Souls had directional attack inputs a la Too Human. It wouldn't add anything to the game, it would just make it more frustrating for beginners and anyone else would just use it and go about their business. Adding mechanics for the sake of it is rarely good. I don't like laser guns, but having to drag my aim across 5 different desks isn't fun either. It's much better to have generic deviations which keep range engagements in check for certain guns. Like old CoD was how shooters should handle recoil. None of that NV4 BS.

The bunny hopping needs to be nerfed. It's a joke. Same with health regen. You revive so FAST. Medics should be the only way you can revive, which would give a reason to actually play the class. The medic class right now is pointless cause you can essentially self revive after like 10 seconds.

hit reg is not bad but not good. sometimes i feel like i straight up should have killed a guy and then get killed and he was at 50 health but doesn't happen often. Love this game i put like 10 hours on it so far cuz i'm busy working out to join the army 😂

Its funny how he complains about wallhacks when you can have the same thing in COD with a killstreak all game long . The recoil is also easy to control in this game its not that hard

The hit reg issue can be an sometimes and there few moments that it can get frustrating but it happened to me at least once or twice every 5 matches which I hope they can fix.

I wouldn't mind XDefiant if Mark Rubin hadn't of dog-whistled to CoD babies about SBMM because that's all you hear about it, like a jealous Ex that never shuts the hell up about their previous lay. The irony is that, despite the game being targeted for casual plays, these same mouth-breathing, jaded, Call of Duty fanboys never shut up about SKILL. 'OMG I feel like I'm progressing.' 'OMG the progression feels so natural.' 'OMG it feels so much better.' All this pretentious diarrhea because you're comparing it to Call of Duty when, in reality, it's a mediocre hero-shooter with no ranked mode.

I have 2 Dragon quest XI 30GB It's huge for me, can't wait to finish it so I can delete it and install something else, I still have 185GB of empty space but I don't like my PC full, the other one is Valorant 47GB

Ok but "high recoil" ? Look at the recoil of siege. That is high recoil. Also a critizism i agree with is that all the guns feel quite similar. Also the "there is no skill based match making " is half true as there is ranked. And the hit registration is very hit or miss as sometimes your bullets feel like they just dissapear and they hit you behind hard cover. Sooo mixed bag

Only problem I have with this game is the obvious cheating. I mean you can see on youtube how blatant people are with cheating. And they're not getting banned. And what's almost as bad is that people are so OBLIVIOUS to it. They just say "ahh I just thought he was good" like what? The dude is one shotting people across the map every single shot. Seeing through walls on the incinerator class. It's ridiculous.
