The thing with Ricegum is, yeah, promoting gambling for kids while being bad, going just specifically towards him feels like... wasted time? Like, EA promotes gambling to kids every goddanm year with FUT in every FIFA game and Madden Ultimate Team.. and people say they care but they still sell a ton each year. The apology was bad but like... the situation wasn't this like... huge extreme fuck up he had to apologize to either. (he prob should have apologized for the expired amazon codes tho lol)

The video is about the worst youtube apologies, not how bad the crime was, no 1 was in for racism while pewds did the same thing, and he's fine too. among the world of 7 billian people, even if just 1 billion buys one game from EA, that's still billions of money, and these videos get 22 million views max. The internet has allowed crimes to be told to the world but it also has allowed companies or people to infuse trust in young stupid kids and they just never believe that the person was bad. In fact, teenagers and adults are kinda the same because the controversy didn't affect them and they keep supporting while the victims lost thousands of dollars, will the teenagers and adults care if they weren't affected?
