They are paying for the colossal waste of money they wasted at least. Disney is in big trouble. I hope they collapse at this point and maybe competent people would take over their stuff separately. One company buys Star Wars, another buys Marvel etc. Then maybe we’d see competent and decent entertainment. The $25 price on a crappy piece of plastic is proof that the target audience is not kids, but adults. Kids don’t play with action figures anymore because their not on a tablet. And they overproduced them for the limited adult market. Plus the shows sucked. I’m still trying to figure out how Ollie’s is making money on this stuff. They must have gotten them for pennies for them to be in the store that long. Frankly, it probably costs them more to throw them away.

Look up the word "trade nights" throughout youtube. It doesn't matter whether it is TCG or sports cards...that is where kids are flocking to nowadays. They're spending their money heavily on the likes of Pokémon or autographed cards of their favorite sports athletes. These have become the modern day era toys where rectangle shaped pieces of card board are out selling plastic action figures. It doesn't matter if the kids are playing the Pokémon card game itself or simply flat out collecting. The money has been steam rolling in the trading card industry.

Ollie's doesn't solely carry the toys and products that no one wants to buy, friend. Every once in a while, something good sneaks in for a really good deal compared to the big brand stores. It's why places like Goodwill, Ross, Big Lots, and other secondhand stores are worth visiting. You never know if you'll get lucky and find something worth buying (although, most times you'll search, find nothing, and have more money for the next possible trip).

As a Xennial, Retrax was the ABSOLUTE worst Beast Wars toy back in the 1990s, don't know what Hasbro and Walmart were thinking bringing this figure back when there were way better choices
