Hey, I just discovered your channel and love the vids on W&G. I'm just getting into it now and wanted to ask, do you run combat in a sort of grid or in a "theater of the mind" setup? I'm not sure which would work better as both have their pros and cons. Thanks for the videos!

Glad you like the videos! I’m a big fan of theater of the mind. I only do maps and grids when I play online and have a big encounter planned.

But what's the gameplay loop? Old school D&D has a gameplay loop based around dungeon crawling and loot. Traveller has a gameplay loop revolving around spaceship mortgages. What is Wrath and Glory's gameplay loop that helps the game play itself and gives agency to the players?
