From what I see they already don't have too much down time. And doing a FULL mocap for everyone would take a long time. If you aren't a fan of the yearly releases then sure. But there's no way they do an annual release with all that.

Considering they're still working on individual mo-capping, while dudes like Vikingsize Gamer work on different modes like Career Mode and Universe-like mode, & Dre41 and the Pro Wrestling Mods crew help get the best out of creation and community tools. I'd say we would be looking at a late 2024 release on all consoles and PC. The game is going to have a live-service model similar to AEW Fight Forever, but will be WAY more proactive in adding additional content, expansions, and communication with the player-base.

Why does 2K need to take notes when 2K's WWE games have realistic wrestler models, multiple big arenas with crowds, Showcase Mode, Universe Mode, MyRise, MyFaction, GM Mode, big creation suite, Online servers along with community creation, multi wrestler matches, long entrances, alot of movesets to choose from, & a big in game roster along with 100 CAW slots which by the way all uses alot of game space.

the mocap for the promos still looks bad to me, but the in-game movement looks good, albeit there's still room for improvement (the transition between animations to normal standing animation is a bit jarringly obvious for instance). One thing i absolutely do have to criticize though is the same issue i had with the 2K games for years. Running speed is ridiculously low.

I see people who are wwe2k fans being delusional. the fact that they're not as big as 2k and doing things better than 2k says a lot. it's still in development and it's looking better than any 2k game that was made. the fact that every wrestler has their own unique animations and movements is great. it's not the smoothest but you can tell it'll get there. y'all accept anything from 2k and that's why we'll continue to have a terrible wwe game. yes, this game needs work but it's better than what 2k gave us.

You've never heard of Sandman, RVD, Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, Gangrel, JTG, Ken Shamrock, Lio Rush, Matt Sydal, New Jack, Enzo, Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri? They also have current WWE, Impact, and AEW wrestlers under contract: Alex Shelley, Thunder Rosa, Eli Drake, Luke Gallows, etc. I don't think the roster is going to be an issue.
