The Wunderlust Travelers Iceland 2022 - Jökulsárlón Bay and Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier

During March 2022, we got to visit Iceland to see the beautiful landscapes and glacier views. I had a great time flying my DJI Air 2S capturing video and photos that I can only describe as spectacular. We stayed in the southern town of Vik, and from there, were able to take a tour of the Ice Caves with Glacier Trips (glaciertrips.is/). Glacier Trips were fantastic!!!
We met up with Glacier Trips in the parking lot next to the glacial lagoon and they took us out in a large van with super big tires. Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon, bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeastern Iceland. Its still, blue waters are dotted with icebergs from the surrounding Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacier. The Glacier Lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving chunks of ice on a black sand beach.
