The Wunderlust Travelers - Jökulsárlón Glacier and Bay, Iceland 2022

During March 2022, we got to visit Iceland to see the beautiful landscapes and glacier views. I had a great time flying my DJI Air 2S capturing video and stills that I can only describe as spectacular. We stayed in the southern town of Vik, and from there, were able to take a tour of the Ice Caves with Glacier Trips (glaciertrips.is/). They took us to the glacier in a large van with huge truck tires. We totally recommend these guys! IG: @glaciertrips
We met up with Glacier Trips in the parking lot next to the glacial lagoon. Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon, bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeastern Iceland. Its still, blue waters are dotted with icebergs from the surrounding Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacier. The Glacier Lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving chunks of ice on a black sand beach.
