Gia was all over these people’s cameras on Allstars AND all over social media claiming to be the first openly trans woman on drag race, saying that she was blazing a trail and she is proud to be the first one and ladida Monet corrected her and said peppermint was the first openly trans woman. But tbh even peppermint wasn’t the first one. All Monet did was correct Gia cause she was taking claim for something that wasn’t even true and that’s a slick diss and shade to the trans women that came before her on drag race. All Monet did was humble her a little bit and remind her that she isn’t the only one NOR the first one. After that Gia dragged the FUCK out of monet on that other talk show and attacked her personally. So yeah honestly Gia deserves THOSE HANDS but Monet graciously just gave her some words.
