When he was 28 he didn't have a penny to his name ( his words) and was sleeping on his sister's couch, and had no car. and look at him now, I'm younger than 28 so if he can get this far and this successful in life, why can't I? Why not go to Med school now if you want to be a doctor? It seems like becoming a nurse first will just take longer if your goal is medical doctor. I remember feeling that way at your age...I would compare myself to others and think, I'm so young and I can become all these things! It is a good feeling. Life is weird though. It isn't as open-ended as it appears. It's almost like a life path is already set out for you when you're born, but you don't see the path until you've walked far down it and you turn around. And then it just becomes so obvious that the path you walked was exactly as it should have been and exactly where you were always headed.

i noticed something, when he’s on his show he doesn’t fidget as much, but here you notice he plays with his rings, he moves his legs and arms, plays with his fingers and he doesn’t look at the camera. It’s interesting. I’ve studied body language in criminal justice classes in college. He strikes me as super confident but he fidgets a lot with his hands and is super tense in the shoulders. He’s nervous but pushes through it. Very interesting and I think he’s such an phenomenal case study for human behavior. Because he’s this larger than life celebrity but still shows his flaws. On my first day of high school in Perth, Western Australia, I was so nervous and alone and I remember sitting at lunch and an older student who was sitting close by turned to me and asked if I was ok and kept me company during the lunch break. We would say hi to each other over the following year when we would pass each other by and he was the coolest. It was George, Ru Paul’s husband and hearing years later he went to the US and married Ru Paul put the biggest smile on my face. I still have our Year book with his photo in it.
