They probably feel she'd be compared to Whitney Houston and since Beyonce was the Biggest Black Female Singer in the World, it would be hard to have her own identity. It's amazing how Sinitta and Simon still can be "Friends". I'm sure she got some nice "Bank" for dong this. She probably feels that Tracy can mop her off the stage in terms of vocals. I had no idea her Mother was Miguel Brown who had The Hit Record So Many Men, So Little Time.

This year is the 40th Anniversary of Dreamgirls. Did you know that Phylicia Rashad (Nee Ayers Allen) actually was an "Understudy" aka Substitute but never got to do the Show but became an Icon with The Cosby Show. Also Many Dreamgirl Alumnae would later do Soap Operas like Search For Tomorrow and it's Sister Show Guiding Light. Jennifer Holliday The "First" Effie also appeared on Guiding Light before playing her on Broadway

I agree with not putting Daniel thru even though he is a great singer. He already had a chance and won a show and for what ever reason, he just couldn't make a career out of it. As for Treyc, she's so beyond the rest of them that if I were Simon I would just have signed her right there in his back yard and had her gorgeous ass out there making hit records while the others fought it out on stage week after week
