I find it intriguing, what's in her that Simon seems is not giving-up! & amongst the other contestant why she was always given chances while the others are not...Now, I got my answer....vocally she is good!...technically she has vocal dexterity...she could sing both in low and high range and can combine it....plus her voice is in big power full range...the only problem I see in her is it seems she is still in that state, questioning herself if she could do this and can be one of them?...in short, confidently believing herself that she can do this!

I've watched this video many times wondering what Simon's critique was about. I normally listen to the audio with headphones; so, I put the audio through Bose digital speakers, maxed the volume and listened for mistakes in pitch/bridging...NONE! Lauren NAILED IT from the bottom (stunningly beautiful modulation/bridging control - thus Keira's reaction) through the mid to high notes. Simon must've had cotton in his ears (I have noticed in the past that when Simon doesn't shave, he can be a pissy shit having a bad hair day)! Like Lauren's cover of Somebody Else's Guy, this song has been stuck in my head for three days now and I'm LOVING IT!

+plexx365 Yeah, the melody at 2:45 threw me at first as well. I looked up the notes at that point in the song and I have to say Lauren followed them technically. The transition isn't an easy one tone wise; really, I'd like to hear Lauren sing that section per chord tone (reverse the melody with the piano). But, yeah, pitch perfect with amazing tone control - WHICH Louise doesn't have; that's why she comes off sounding as if she's screaming at times.

+plexx365 Simon DOESN'T allow AutoTune on any of the XFactor shows (since 2010 I think). So, the audio is authentic. The song Louise did for the 6 Chair comp was performed as a finally by the 2013 Aussie XFactor winner, Dami Im. Dami received an ovation from all the judges standing ON the table - I've never seen that happen. Dami has amazing tone control as well. If you're interested in hearing the difference, go to KZbin's J1Z07 Channel, he still has it posted.

I think I'm seeing the winner of X Factor UK 2016. I know many fans of 4th Impact want the sisters to win and so do I, but UK will vote for Lauren Murray. She is winsome and her songs are charting in iTunes. She's able to connect with the audience.
