I love the way Scully and Mulder are connected. Nowadays when there is a duo on TV, they tend to make the connection between them dramatically romantic, like the two characters can just jump into each other and have sex at any second. When it comes to the X-Files. the relationship between Scully and Mulder is strong, they are strongly connected, they share mutual trust and confidence in each other but still look professional and rational enough for a crime series.

They were up against a formidable group of shows. The duo of Mulder and Scully is one of the small screens greatest. Gillian Anderson's Dana Scully is the most solid female lead in any television series. Scully and Mulder were all business unlike most shows with attractive male and female leads that get thrown together for sex ratings. Or they flirt and tease each other for more sex ratings. X Files was sooo well written...it didn't need that shit.

I didn’t mind the romance because I think they made an unconventional couple, I think she was a very modern woman for the 90s I mean Julianna Margulies and George Clooney in er were the stereotypical cheeky doctor - sweet and strong nurse who gets to marry the ladies’ man couple but scully was a top scientist, cultured and rational and mulder was an unconventional dry humored man

Scully was a medical doctor as well as an FBI agent...she couldn't afford to embarrass herself by yielding her charms to the leading man. In fact, she had very few dates with anyone during the run of the show.

R.N.s), as an emergency room RN for 20 years on a full time basis, on different shifts, on holidays, during crises, tragedies, in good times and bad times.We have seen each other more than we have seen our own families and loved ones.I do believe that they share a special bond with one another which goes back to their youth in 1993.
