I went to the Brahamas vs Battlehawks game at the Alamodome. It was a very fun time for a big football fan like myself. The environment was electric. Even though my team lost, it was surprisingly more accepting to lose with great football play instead of losing by a kick. I’m looking forward to more XFL games in person.

I like the differences in the game play . It doesn't HAVE to be the NFL. It can be it's own thing and still have entertainment value. I remember when XFL first came out. The first game to go into OT was amazing. It was one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen. I just love football. Well, from college and up lol.

I was there at the San Antonio Brahmas game. Dude we seriously had fun in the stands. I've been to many NFL games in my life and this by far was the most fun I've had at a football game. Sadly the brahmas lost but it was actually good football. I already bought tickets to 2 more games. Go Brahmas!!!!

The NFL I believe they looked into the 4th and 15 rule but felt that the likelihood of conversions was similar to the onside. So the 4th down play is not easy, but it adds a little more drama, which I loved

I watched it before. It's good for the players to have a second chance to get to the league its just as advertised a minor league to the NFL. Would be better if they were affiliated with the teams so some of these players can get the development they need and chances to show they can play.

So me being someone who was at the DC Defenders game. They were serving spiked lemonade drinks with bourbon. And inside the drink they had whole lemons. When they took away the beer snake someone said “You take away our Beer Snake we’re gonna give ya lemonade!!!!”. Can’t make this up! 😂😂😂

I'll also add that I like that when they do a replay, you can hear the replay official talking to the officials on the field. "Show me the reverse angle... yeah, you can see the ball start to move, but I can't tell whether his feet were already down... we'll let the play stand because there isn't enough evidence to overturn it." That is one thing the NFL needs to IMMEDIATELY put into their broadcasts.

I caught the DC vs Seattle game and it was very good. You get to see players aren't spoiled by the tens of millions of dollar NFL contracts. From that perspective, we get a pure sense of player brutality purity =). I like the fact that these guys are hitting harder and taunting fans. This is the XFL and they aren't any rules for taunting, hitting hard. I like hearing the coaching staff say what needs to be said. Sure there is probably some scripted lemon tossing but the hitting is real. Love how they set up the extra points which means there are more ways to come back in a game. At the end of the night, this game did everything it was billed to do for me. Entertained me, gave great competitive and more physical football and I really enjoyed the lack of NFL refs interfering in the game and throwing penalties left and right for players celebrating. Plus, it's post NFL and college football season. Any football is good football and this game more than delivered.

I liked the original XFL From like 20 years ago. Because it was hard heading there was no kick off they put the ball on the 50 yd line both teams ran for it who ever got the ball had possession 1st. Almost no QB protection. Limited penalties. Now that was real football.

Went to the season opening game in Arlington, and watched the rest of the games on TV. Also went to 2/3 of the Defenders games back in 2020. The XFL, especially live, is a ton of fun, and it's cheap to go. Can't ask for more.

The game that made me a Bama fan, was 2012 Bama @ LSU. AJ couldn’t move the ball in the second half, till the last 1:30 and then drove them down the field and won. I’ve been a Bama and AJ fan since. He was my favorite qb till Mac Jones had that 2020 perfect season, both wore #10. I’m glad AJ is having a great season.

I also found for me one of the biggest unsaid things about the XFL. Fans can appear to do almost anything they want. One camera cut showed what at least look like the equivalent of gallons of beer tossed. In any college or NFL game this wouldn't be allowed as many fans would be drenched with beer that didn't want that. Here it seems everyone on the home side of the endzone didn't mind it at all. This is part of the showmanship the WWF is/was. So it makes sense that it's allowed and even encouraged in the XFL. XFL to home fans, "bring whole lemons and beer is going to be on the cheap at the game". If you recall after the TN/Ole miss game there were investigations into trying to identify fans in the stand. That won't be happening in the XFL.

As a fan who attended the game and was in the middle of all the chaos, allow me to explain. The whole lemons came from a beverage that was being served by the beer venders in the stands. The stadium security committed a litteral crime and took away our beloved beer snake. We are all pissed and we let them hear it all game. Thats when lemons started raining down in protest. And i say FREE THE SNAKE!!!!!! LETS GO DEFENDERS

I'm an Australian Punter & Kicker trying to get over to break into the XFL and I can't explain how difficult it is to get in touch with literally anyone at the XFL or any team in the league so tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they do remove kicking. I also agree with how horrendously unathletic all American Kickers and Punters are.

watched the XFL and liked it and fingers crossed it will get better. The teams had no preseason games so the first week was their first live action. I think by the third week we'll be able to better tell which teams are going to be good. Matt did you really have to pick on the kickers? I mean sure there an easy target but come on unathletic white guys. Thats cold man. I like the conversion too 1, 2 and 3 points I wanna see how that plays out during the season, not too sure about the kickoff but it might help prevent injuries as the teams aren't hitting one another at full speed. Oh I'll watch the USFL when they play, can't stand the NBA and baseball lost me years ago so for me football year-round works.

I’ve watched two XFL games this weekend. I was pretty entertained. You’ve got to get by the weird rules but I enjoyed it. It was just a fill in though until Bama softball came on. Bama ladies went 3-1 at the Clearwater Invitational this weekend with wins against Duke, Indiana and Florida State. Only loss was to UCLA. But overall great weekend for the girls. ROLL TIDE!!

I agree... it pissed me off when my team loses a close game to a chip-in field goal that they have almost no chance of stopping, or even one from 45 yards. I also feel dirty when my team wins one that way too, even though a win's a win, it still just feels "unofficial" and dirty somehow. Yeah yeah yeah, I know... they should've stopped them before they got into field goal range, or should've stopped them from getting a TD to set up the game-winning P.A.T.. The only thing that makes me hesitate to say they should just get rid of kicking the ball altogether is the fact that it's been a part of the game of football since day one and is just an aspect of the game you must account for. When I watch the XFL games, the rules that make kicking the ball all but obsolete change the game in many many ways and something about it turns me off from watching it. So now that I think about it, I disagree. It's called FOOTball for a reason. If you don't like the fact that a player - athletic or not - can just kick the ball through the uprights (which is harder than it looks), then take the ball away or stop them to begin with! Also, I don't agree they're all unathletic, and I would add that there are other positions where athleticism isn't always important either and is filled with players who aren't.
