Octagon needs to ask the front office for a Gleyber trade NOW. He’s in his walk year and at this pace will be lucky to get a one-year-prove-it deal this offseason. A change of scenery can’t hurt. DJ? Is he done? Is he rusty from all that time on the DL? Don’t have an answer here.

I agree. Gleybor has basically just quit. He seems so down, he can’t keep going and he’s quit. Defense, base running, hitting. It’s all horrendous. And the issue is we need him. We absolutely need someone in the bottom 5 of the lineup to hit. And he’s the guy that has the talent to do it. But mentally he’s a train wreck.

Yanks are NOT going to sit Gleybor right now. We’re facing a bunch of lefties and Stanton is down. They feel like they need Gleybor to compete against all the lefties. If he keeps up this terrible ply through this stretch of lefties, I think the Yankees might trade him or give up on him. Terrible start to the lefty week yesterday for Gleybor.
