This episode of Canada Talks Electric cars welcomes Kenneth Bokor, creator, producer and host of the EV Revolution Show. Ken shares his unique perspective surrounding electrification in 2024.
Ken is a member of the Automobile Journalists
Association of Canada (AJAC) and the Automotive Press Association (APA). He has appeared on various media outlets as an EV expert, including CBC’s The National prime-time newscast and Global’s Morning Show. Ken is a regular contributor to Toronto’s AM640 Radio shows and often appears on CBC Vancouver Radio. Since 2020, he has attended and appeared as a guest panelist at the Fully Charged Live events in Austin, Texas, San Diego, California and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Finally, as part of his personal outreach, Ken is a member and Caledon Chapter Lead of Electric Vehicle Society (EVS), where he participates in many public events, member meetings and EV educational talks. He provides a great “EV 101” primer presentation for those interested in learning more about the EV marketplace.

Actually, a lot of us, me included, have to use public charging because we live in condos, or lack garages and personal driveways, or have to park on the streets. I live in Montreal and can easily find charging. Our infrastructure is quite good and I own a PHEV, so I can charge quickly. But we are not there yet, and as you said, it will be a decades long transition. Other big issues come down to price, higher insurance costs and massive EV depreciation right after you purchase.
