Im not able to get the pretty oval shape of the chain stitch using the link method, i can only get the teardrop chain shape with loop method. 😢

You can achieve a nice oval, but you just need to keep your loops looser and try not to pull it too tight between each stitch. Much like if you've used the loop method, if you use the link method, you can use tension to change the appearance of the chain stitch. Let me know how you get on!
