Please like my Facebook Page: pages/Josiah... This is a song that the cavalrymen sang during the American Civil War. Mainly though it was sung by the Confederate army, which explains the Confederate Flag. I hope you enjoy

The Confederacy sure did have a lot of catchy tunes and songs that could be sung a cappella with ease. I remember my grandfather used to sing this song…he learned it from actual veteran Confederate soldiers, who still were alive in the very early 20th century. “Bonnie Blue” was another popular tune of that era too! I just LOVE my Southern heritage!!! Very proud of my heritage!!

Yes the US should be balkanized. New england should be independent or a part of canada. Ohio and michigan should also be independent. California should be independent and Oregon and washington(state) should be handed over to canada and native reserves. Central USA should become wild west+alien+mexican mafia cartel territory. Texas should regain all its land it had before joining the US and the CSA should gain independence with west virginia. Rest of the US states should gain independence and retain their current borders.

Like once was not enough....
@user-xg8yy7yl1d5 жыл бұрын
@@frederikhyrup2871 Texas used to be an independent republic though I think Texas may have a better chance of leaving than any other state if they do so peacefully because they were once an officially independent country and joined the US by treaty not by being created by the US or forming it at the beginning it might be looked at more favourably by international law I think the whole "civil war settled the issue on separation" thing isnt really true assuming one were to go about independence peacefully. I dont think in the 21st century that the US would respond to a peaceful democratically held officially verified independence referendum by going in and shooting people or even sending in an occupation force. If they did theyd win the war sure if people even tried to fight back against the massive US military but they would forever and irreparably damage their world reputation as being a "free country" the US would for the rest of is existence be seen as a totalitarian state who used the military to suppress a democratic vote and forceably keep people in who wanted to leave. Countries like Russia would have a massive propaganda victory over the US, the rest of the "free world" would reconsider an alliance with a country who did something like that, there would be widespread guerilla attacks and bombings etc by people against the federal government because the best way to turn people violent is to use violence against them, the rest of the US population would start completely distrusting and fearing the government not the whole "I dont like paying taxes so fuck the government" but real fear of it, people in the army who were from the state who tried to leave and others who disagreed with what happened would start turning and ultimately we would likely see the dissolution of the USA. The absolute worst thing the US could do for its stability and reputation is use the military to stop a state from leaving unless said state goes about it violently

Likewise. I am proud of what we have tried to maintain as a Nation, a beacon of Freedom, a kind of Big Brother to the world. "Oh, look there... someone is picking on the little brother, saddle up boys. It's time to ring the Liberty Bell." I am proud to be an American, and I am proud to be a Southerner, and proud of my ancestors who fought for the Confederate States of America. I am also proud of having fought for the United States of America in my time and will continue to do so... even if our government is a far cry from its original intent we are still the Greatest Free Nation in the world, and well worth defending. (former U.S. Army here as well) Gotta say it crawled my innards to be assigned to a Unit that had fought against us in the past though. Fake motivation was the word on Unit History pride lol. I remember my CMD Team asking me questions about our Unit History and telling me how proud I should be, but all I could think is "G-ddamned yankee bastards... I hope my ancestors know why I'm doing this".

I remember listening to this tune when I was a kid way back in the 70s in Korea, and now I am nearing to 60. The full lyrics and this rendition of the all-man choir has given me a huge goosebump and found my whole face being covered with pumping lines of stream from my eyes.
