the difference between KR and KX china is that KX China has a lot more paths for different nations, such as Chiang Kai-Chek LKMT or Tang Dynasty Yunnan, or Chinesisches Kaiserreich League of Eight Provinces

Might be late for comment. Indeed the difference between KR & KX is KR has less content for many warlords after Chinese unification compared to KX (Not much decision beside regain lost territories occupied during Century of Humiliation). I managed to unify China as Yigundao sect in KR not long before. It formed New Qing Empire under Puyi as a puppet Emperor (And Zhang Tiangran as a prime minister. His role similiar to Wu Peifu in early game Qing Goverment, this time religion rule the state).

As it turns out, the skeleton of the Yiguandai tree was derived from old bits of disused KR localization tucked away. They were missing descriptions and effects but provided the general concept for each focus. Hashed out events indicate that it was initially intended to be a completely separate tree from the base Qing tree that could be accessed if Puyi asked Tianran for help and got couped.
