I'd never considered this but it is weirdly accurate. The first time I saw Osie stood next to some people it was genuinely surprising how short she was, whereas with Bouphe and Boba you just go 'yeah makes sense'

Maybe just me, but I feel a lot of that is just how they speak. If it makes sense at all, the way Shadow talks, it's like she's talking "up" to you while Osie feels more like talking "down" at you but not like in the rude way. Shadow is pretty soft-spoken, more demure sounding in her cadence. While Osie has a bit more "oomph" in her voice when she speaks.

I think something about certain yogs demeanor and build makes it difficult to comprehend their height. Except Boba. Boba is as tiny as a gremlin at child should be.

I'm 179cm and I used to think I'm very tall, until I realised that the height average has risen by five to eight centimeters the past decade. I constantly see teenagers who are at least 5cm taller than I am when I go shopping.

It fucked me up a bit after they've talked so much about Lydia being gigantic, but she's only like 1.8m or something. It's not that Lydia is so big, it's that the Yogscast are all tiny dwarves. I think the only one I know of who's tall is Harry who's 1.88. The reason that Lydia looks so gigantic next to Bouphe is that Bouphe is just a 1.5m little babby. Lewis is only 1.7m. So no wonder she looks tall in comparison. Reminds me of when I went to Japan. I'm like 1.8m, which is the average in Norway. In Japan I was like 20cm taller than most people. I took pictures with people, and I looked like an orc next to them.
