gods Lewis sounded tired in that final interview. I reckon the deciding factor was Bens finely honed dad powers of still being able to function while sleep deprived, while pampered old man Lewis just didn't have the stamina to keep going that long after his bedtime
@ArcNine9Angel3 жыл бұрын
I think you might be right, I felt so hype for Lewis as the predator clawing back up to the final round, and that last match I think he was just trying to do too much at once and not able to manage it with focus. Just deflated... ah well. Still amazing games, and I hope they do this again soon.

as someone who's played a fair bit of starcraft in my days. It was cool to see your improvement from previous years. Lewis was playing real starcraft vs ben in that first final game. One of my favorite things in life is to see someone get it, like lewis seems to have done recently.
@SaulGoodman3D2049 Жыл бұрын
If you look at the really old Starcraft videos on the main channel from 10 years ago it seemed like Lewis got pretty decent playing the beta and WOL, which really shows here since while a lot of his fundamentals are off and he barely used any of the new Protoss stuff, his micro and macro had far too much precision for a new or casual player.
@TheGubbinz3 жыл бұрын

If you look past the minor technical issues in the beginning and the fact that they don't have a ton of expert knowledge of the game, Rythian and Daltos are actually a pretty good team at hosting and casting. Rythian is good at analysis and Daltos is good at color commentary. This was fun and entertaining to watch.

@fulldisclosureiamamonster27863 жыл бұрын
Being a tryhard isn't necessarily a bad thing for the reason you just said lol
@panner113 жыл бұрын
Well, if by tryhard, you meant effort and practicing a lot, that's usually Lewis. Duncan is usually tryhard for the reason they call him 50% Duncan in the commentary, where he only picks characters/heroes/races that have 50% win rate or higher. It's a different type of tryhard.

About Duncans zergling defense. The proper defense against that rush is to send 2-3 scvs to repair and if that doesn't work you drop 2nd barrack behind the depo. Then to defend the baneling bust , you block entrances with your barracks Similarly i takes 3 workers to destroy building pylons and cannons. The Zergling rush was at best Silver level
