English Polisher + change = absence. Perfectly understandable. You made such an impact 5 or so years ago, which made it difficult for many people to forget about you. Good to see you back bonny lad!

Recently found you on KZbin when looking to learn about restoring furniture as I've become slightly addicted to collecting old furniture. Great videos, only wish I could watch more.

Hi Rob i can`t say how glad i am to see you posting again , i didn`t think we would see you again allthough its a great suprise when to see you pop up on TV shows like salvage hunters with Alex . You have been a great inspiration to me after recovering from cancer i needed something to keep me busy as i,m not able to work so now spend many hours in the garage on restoring bits of furniture. Love doing bureau`s but also alot of ercol furniture. Would you french polish an ercol drop leaf table ? as i have used osmo oil in the past. All the best and i do hope you keep posting.... dave

I see you are still a proper country gentleman Rob. :) Figs, pansies, animals, and an outdoor stove....hmmm? Lovely. I have always known that my creative side comes from my Britsh roots and your videos always stir up those many past generations. My family may have left your continent but it seems that all these things are still carried forward. DNA? I just woke up and saw your post. 5:00 AM here. Going to get some Earl Grey and listen/watch Winters Edwardian Chest at the same time. An old favorite. Thanks for the reminder.

Welcome Back! I have a question for you if you don't mind me asking. My father has a huge walnut wardrobe that belonged to his grand father. The piece has over 100 years old. However about 15 years ago he took it for a restoration and they made a terrible job. The piece was stained to a wengue color and it darkened the walnut beautiful features. I wish to restore it now. Would you recommend a stripper or a sanding for a piece that old. I want to restore it to its natural color. I hope this isn't asking too much, but maybe a few pointers would be really nice. Thank you.

I have been watching your video's for a long time now. I'm so glad you have started putting out more now. It sure helps the boredom of being stuck at home during this time. Can you recommend where you get your supplies to make your mouse/rubber? I have been wanting to try french polishing but have not been able to track down the materials to make my own.
