I’ve given up rolling the dice with RTI. My six purchases from them break down as follows: -One rifle that’s in sad cosmetic shape but 100% shootable with just a cleanup and no need to replace any parts. -Two rifles that are only suitable as wallhangers and not economically repairable (would cost way more to fix than the result would be worth). -Three that were not shootable in their current state but at least repairable without serious gunsmithing. None of these were advertised as b- or c-grades or gunsmith specials, and yet most of them either required work or were beyond reasonable repair. Figured it’s just better to buy nicer examples.

A good, honest review. Much appreciated! You’ll love shooting this gun. It’s tons of fun, and well made.

Royal tiger imports has allowed tons of new gun channels to start up for not a lot of money. Excellent show, solid sub from me. One gun channel to another!

There was one at a local gun shop I almost bought, but it was price gouged to the fullest extent. $850 pre covid. Couldn’t do it.

What grade or condition was this rifle advertised as?
@Evergreen5096 ай бұрын
I believe the examples we purchased we’re not advertised with a grade

Hand select at RTI is the best of 5 rifles, off the top of the stack. It's luck of the draw. One hand select may be far superior to the next.

How’s the bore?

I feel like they are all B grade and hand select does nothing, but I don't have enough data to confirm this. I feel like RTI is always a gamble so the less money you bet the more and better off you might be if you win. Also I won one of these at auction for what you paid and I don't think it had ever been fired based on the bore so I have always passed on these(the YUGO's and Enfield's from RTI).
