EXACTLY!!! BINGO !!! Lil-Z is AMAZING...in Many Ways. She knows Exactly what is going on..all around her...All The Time. True..she is in relaxing mode. But she is using the kid's antics (or rather..LACK of antics) as a Check It Out Warning Bell. And even then, reacting quickly...she won't go into high energy mode..until her built in algorithm tells her to.

Growing up on a giant ranch, I had the same scenario. When the 2000+ head of cattle were taken care of, then came the many goats. Our Australian Blue Heelers, and Border Collie cow dogs would bed the goats down an keep an eye out. Ranching was, and will always be the hardest job I’ve ever had, and I was 12.

Great Pyrenees are the best. We had a little ranch in Texas and a bunch of goats. His nick name was 4x4. He was simply amazing and the most loving. He raised many baby goats cause Mamma died or rejected. Not to mention kittens thought he was Mamma also. They are stubborn as all get out but just an amazing breed. They are wonderful family dogs. While Chewy wasn't a working dog, he did lots of protecting as that is bred into them. If anyone is sitting the fence about getting one, do it, you won't regret it. LOTS of hair but when isn't there with any dog? We miss him so much. What a wonderful video, as your dog knew all is well, no work to be done here. Time for a nap!
