The Zariman sounds like a super futuristic version of the Titanic, I wonder if that was the inspiration for the Zariman.

"if the titanic suddenly would pop up after decades in pristine condition even true we all learned about the dissaster that happened i woulda crap my pants seein such a insane huge ship entering the docks out of the blue" -ziplock Well if it suddenly returned like the zariman did it would be a very scary idea cuz imagine the people on board who were stuck in time....omg they would have all of em sudden reality shock.

A few things to know to note here the first one is more of a correction. they wanted to jump to another system because of overconsumption rather than overpopulation. It's stated over and over again that Orokin were greedy and would plunder every resource to enrich themselves. They were running out of resources in the Origin system so they wanted to plunder Tau instead. A second thing is that it is implied that Yonta sabotaged the reliquary drive as she was ordered to do so by the Orokin to punish the Zariman citizens for their disobedience. Tuvil spoke of the Zariman citizens like they were worthless and just ants that sacrifice themselves for them. This was during the height of the uprising. So the Zariman citizens wanted to live in Tau themselves and leave behind the Orokin. This maddened Tuvil ofc so it's highly likely that this is why Yonta was ordered to make the jump fail as a punishment. And yeah when the ship hit the fan, she couldn't bate her own guilt and that's why she gave herself the Jade Light and thought she didn't deserve it.

The fact of the matter is we have limited information on exactly why resources were running scarce. I do mention the Orokin's greed, but Tuvul also says that the Origin System is a "crowded nest", implying that there were genuine population concerns. I think it's quite reasonable to assume that the Orokin's waste, greed, and opulence were the major factors (which also aligns with the Oberon Prime trailer), but I wanted to leave it open-ended since our facts are so scarce. In the end, we are simply told that the Zariman journey was necessary. The question of what happened to the Reliquary Drive is even more nebulous. It's possible 1) the Orokin sabotaged the Drive, or ordered it to be sabotaged, 2) the Man in the Wall directly interfered, 3) the colonists caused it inadvertently, either with their strong emotions interfering with the Void or their rebellion causing physical damage, or 4) the calculations were just wrong and the jump failed for entirely mundane reasons. We really don't have evidence to point us in one direction or the other. I've seen nothing that directly implies Yonta sabotaged the jump at Tuvul's command. Tuvul was certainly very upset, but even he leaves open the idea that the Zariman colonists might one day return: "Come to those hands again, and you will find them closed to you." Besides, if Yonta deliberately sabotaged the jump, I would think she would be a LOT more guilty than she already is, and be more hated by the other crewmembers - but that's more subjective. The thing about Warframe's lore is that the details are so few and far between, so there's ample space for theory and discussion! All the things you say are certainly possible given what we know.

@@OrokinArchives well it's an Orokin that say it's overpopulation. So a greedy overcomsumer blaming the citizens below them for s lack of resources. And I'm not saying that Yonta did do it. But it is implied. Because it is confirmed (by the Zariman ARG) that she was calibrating the reliquary drive before the jump where everything went wrong. It was also confirmed that Tuvul wanted to start the jump to Tau sooner than planned. And she denounced all the protesters as traitors over the intercom. Each and every one of the Hold Fast did horrible things they feel guilty about because they were following orders and for her, her guilt was enough to commit suicide while she though she didn't deserve it. So maybe she didn't sabotage it but she was responsible for the jump failing while knowing it could happen because she followed Tuvuls orders. So yeah in the end it the Hunger, the fear, the anger, and the jump happening despite everyone panicking and starting a riot while they are aware how dangerous this is... It all happened because Tuvul's own narcissism and obsession with having control.

2:02 This is wrong. The Sentients built the Solar Rail between Sol an Tau when they were sent to Terraform the system for colonization, the Zariman was just the first attempt to actually use it. It was risky because a Solar Rail jump of that length had never been attempted before.
@OrokinArchives
@OrokinArchives 7 ай бұрын
The Zariman used a Reliquary Drive for Void travel, instead of the Solar Rails. The Solar Rail network provides FTL travel to any and all ships, but only to locations on the network. Some special ships, like the Zariman and Railjacks, have Reliquary Drives that allow them to travel anywhere, even to locations where there are no Solar Rails. It was implied during the 2017 TennoCon Art Panel (but never discussed in canon lore) that Reliquary Drives actually create a new Solar Rail when they jump, so they operate on similar principles. Although the exact order is never laid out exactly, it's most likely that the Zariman was the first colonisation attempt, before the Sentients. The Sentients were meant to build the Solar Rail (and then terraform the planets). The fact that the Zariman had to travel via Reliquary Drive means the Solar Rail wasn't completed. The Sentients were only sent later, after the Zariman had failed. Remember, the Sentients were illegal under the Orokin's laws. They were approved because the Orokin were desperate. They had no other options. It's also notable that none of the Zariman logs, records, and dialogue mention the Sentients… because they hadn't been built yet.

I would like to! Albrecht is my favourite character in the game! But sadly I'm holding off on making a video until after 1999 because I don't want the video to be out-of-date as soon as it gets uploaded, haha. In the meantime you can read my article about Albrecht Entrati here: www.orokinarchives.com/discussion-albrecht-entrati. When I do make a video, it'll be based on this article (and updated for all the new information we will get soon).
