Nintendo said “in the series” and the CD-i games aren’t part of the series. They are a separate thing. Think of it like a spin-off. For example, the Nolan Batman series is just 3 movies, not every single movie featuring Batman.

Good Video! You know, it makes sense why Nintendo wanted to forget those two games, even if Echoes Of Wisdom does have a “similar” plot. I genuinely likes watching your video! Keep up the good work!
