There are levels to everything. She didn’t do any research on him that showed her interviewer skills. Yes she came across as rude but she seems to think she is being cute and sweet which she is clearly not in regards to her skills. It’s a disappointing interview and he aired pure class. Her speech grammar is a let down. Someone help her fix up. She hardly bigged him up and patronised him more so. I’m turned off more than intrigued. I like the way he had to remind her that he ought to answer the question instead of her brainstorming for a degrading question. He schooled her in interview etiquette.

I feel like Zeze likes to ask questions in an antagonizing and patronising manner, then doesn't even allow the person to answer. Like, she asks these mad personal questions then skips over the topic before they even begin to answer. I've yet to see any guy (I've noticed she doesn't address ladies in this way) lose their cool with her for it so big up to them. But you can see on his face how hella annoyed he was at one point and good on him for saying can I actually talk about the boxing? 🤣🤣🤣 She also makes comments about finding it hard to find a good man, then gives successful black men a platform on her show to not build them up, but patronise, it's so strange lol and sure fire way to keep 'good men' away.

I listened to this whilst I was out running and so wasnt able to see the visual or read the comments and I thought exactly the same thing. I think she was trying to be funny by being so brash but it come across as rude. For example him not wanting to talk about his ex isn't probably him being shy or scared, it's that there is another person involved and if he just talks openly about their personal business for the sake of HIS interview it isn't fair to them or what they shared.

Free Minds shes tryna catch him out most of the interview g. She wants him to slip up and say something he shouldn’t say but okolie is too smart to fall for her childishness😂 so he makes music and he fights as well. The first half of the video she is criticising him for that and why ?! Cos Ms banks and him broke up and she a Ms banks fan girl or some shit😭 and when she starts interrogating him about his relationship with her and he clearly don’t wanna talk about it cos that’s private situation she just keeps going on and on about it like is this a woman or a little girl asking these questions. Okolie is too successful in his career, he shouldn’t be giving time and attention to shitty little platforms like this😬 clearly works harder than Zeze mills ever has in her life. It almost feels like she got something against him and I don’t know why but doing an interview she should be professional and ask real questions instead of tryna stick it on him

I watched a snippet of the interview- Lawrence posted it on his instagram- and I thought she was flirting with him. Now that I've watched the full thing, I can't help but feel a little off put by how imposing she was. A lot of the questions she asked were quite leading, I thought, as if she had already formed an opinion about him and simply wanted him to confirm her suspicions rather than being genuinely interested in what he had to say.

Dear Zeze, I think you interview so well, the fact that people like what he says, has to be credited to you to some degree, if you did not ask the questions, he would not give these answers, well researched, your commitment to the art of an interviewing and pushing people to make clear their perspective so it isn't just generic answers is dope. I think in 10 years time people will be looking back at you as a social researcher and culture producer, rather than a girl who interviews (which you are not by the way).
