Since you checked the dead body of the dead stalker in the yantar snorks and pseudogiant tunnel, it should reveal the location of a modified exoskeleton suite in pripyat hidden in the cross front of a statue, this location should be marked in your map, if it's not, then it's bugged, some times it appears some times it doesn't.

Yeah, just quicksave and loot him, if it doesnt show up, rhen just load save and try again, i just started soc again vanila full game, and played it for 11 hours, but you will get it like after some attempts

@k.r.o.b.i.j.a.3279 yes you are right, I completely forgot that you have to save after checking the corpse and keep on reloading till that mark appears in the pripyat map. In my play through I couldn't find it because I completely neglected it. But in my final confrontation with monolith in the sarcophagus area I paid the price for that.

What am I worried about? :D In Wind of Time I went for the Radar and the end after I got a Merc exo fully upgraded, also AS VAL and AEK-971 and SR-26, last 2 with grenade launchers and like 40-50 grenades for it :D + 25 medkits and 10 'nades :D 700 ammo for the VAL and AEK. 400 only for the SR :D And a Saiga with 200 shot. (And all ammo were AP ammo ofc) E: I think the zombies weren't that tanky in og SoC..

Started yesterday Og SoC, one hit kill is zombie, played it for 11 hours straight😂😂, rn im in prypiat and finishing it today

Yeah the mod clearly messed up a lot - zombies and NPCs are bulletproof almost somehow MP5 works way better due to high rate of fire and accuracy in close combat

Soc uses ballistics AND rolls whether a bullet damages or not. And in soc you have to crouch or low crouch most times to get good accuracy

Check the corpses of your fallen enemies especially the mercenaries, sometimes it reveals the location of hidden stashes with good loot, especially in the wild territory, and also when you finish certain tasks or quests, there are more items in this area, there is a corpse of a dead mercenary with an RPG rocket launcher next to the helicopter, a freedom suite in the caravan where the 3 mercenaries were hiding when they were trying to ambush you and the scientist right before the flame tunnel anomaly area. There is a good artifact in the garage next to the tower where the mercenaries snipers tries to kill you 2 times.

Also there are 3 suites in the yantar map, one modified military suite on the corpse of the soldier next to a trash container in the factory area, and 2 suites in the lab area underneath the stairs of the 3 switches area inside the breakable wooden boxes, also in the area where you locate the dead body of Ghost and get attacked by the controller there is a gun with integrated grenade launcher hidden in the first toilet on the right in the flushing box, you have to jump on the toilet seat to reach it because it's really well hidden.

@WaveysGamingAdventure there is a forth suit in Rostok in the first cross located next the road to the army warehouses, it should be marked on your pda map after you finish the bar keep yantar quest.

In the army warehouses, there are 3 powerful guns, a marksman m16 gun where there is a squad of 4 or 5 mercenaries located to where the entrance to the dead city used to be. There is also a grenade launcher located in the basement of one of the houses in the bloodsuckers village. This gun is important to finish the quest of the duty General who will ask you to bring him this gun, although it's an alternative solution to that quest, in exchange he will reward you with a modified scoped rifle that will be important later when you fight monolith because they will be really a headache. there is also 4 suits located in the army warehouses placed in 3 different locations.

Why are enemies so spongy? i dont remember them being so tough at the point i made it to jantar i dropped them at 1-3 shots from what i remember,so many years ago...

What is this damage model?! This mod fucked up something really bad when they edited the weapons and armor. I'm thinking they removed vanilla's superbullet mechanic, but didn't adjust the damages to compensate for the missing headshot multiplier. EDIT: Downloaded the mod linked in the description and went over the files, and I can't find any obvious change that would result in the spongyness we're seeing in the video. They even made most ammo types pseudo-buckshot, meaning you fire two bullets per shot that will each do full damage if they hit.

Wanna try a snork-related Zone Sportsmanship Challenge just to see if it works in this mod of demented do0m? 4:22 Deagle in .45 ACP hurts my brain (always has). They should have made it a Jericho 941 (or "Baby Eagle") instead. 5:16 Ackchyually, to decimate means "to reduce by one-tenth." 6:09 Why do they make you grasp the GP-25's dinky nub grip while firing the host rifle? ShoC did it right. The other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games did it wrong. Just like with the sawed-off. They took something that was right and they made it wrong. So then modders got the brainwave that wrong was right just because it was "newer" or whatever. 8:59 Same here. 9:22 There's no way such a front-heavy pistol in .45 ACP would have that much muzzle-jump. 10:34 In 'nilla ShoC, if you wanted a decent supply of 40-mils, you had to earn them from Lukash or Voronin by doing repeatable missions. You'd get a lot more than just 40-mils too, but the 40-mils were icing on the cake. Lukash if you want the NATO type (which I think are M381 HE-frags). Voronin if you want the muzzle-loading caseless type (VOG-25, also HE-frag). 17:04 Maverick 88 with rifle sights. Hey bro, there is something called phantom bullet in SoC, if you didnt know, so what is it? That is the firsth bullet you fire from your weapon, its like 10x power or something, its restarts on every second you dont fire if i am right, so no problem for info, takee care

I've learned that you can just sell any gun to NPCs for their unique weapons they will drop after transaction. Sold shortAK for 5,45 Groza from Barin... and it SUCKS. That was deal breaker for me because it's one of the best rifles in ShoC, edit - oh no, scientists do NOT give full price for artifacts? What a letdown

This mod infuriates me, I never played it and never will but what is wrong with gunplay in it, the accuracy and damage of guns has been put into a blender, isn't it supposed to be a graphics only mod? I am shouting at every video in this series
