December, 1964 was a great time! I had just finished boot camp and was home for Christmas. The Zombies were part of the "British Invasion" that brought so much energy and new life to pop music here in the US.

You are making me cry by bringing back these old songs and groups from way way back when. I bought this single on vinyl record back in 1964 and played it on my record player over and over and over with my friends as we sang with the record. TELL HER NO NO NO NO. The guy singing the song broke my heart too just listening to him.

Love those smooth jazzy chords those guys played!

Unfortunately, the 2 u mentioned are it. I dig his voice. Not sure if he branched out on his own. Another great 60s tune. I was very fortunate growing up then

This is a classic! I know it because I had a teenage sister and was exposed to all music of that time, but listening to it now, I can see how polished yet gritty it was.

The No, No, No part was before I even started schooling. Rira Chow and Sakra from Singapore incorpotune this kind tune style in the early 60s.

They were a part of the British Invasion of that time but I believe their music was part of the Merseybeat scene like Gary & The Pacemakers. Check out Time Of The Season, and She's Not There by The Zombies. That guitar riff in Tell Her No is awesome sauce.

Hey Tysheen, great band! I can't really add anything to what others have posted. Another good band with a similar sound to me is The Strawberry Alarm Clock and their song "Incense And Peppermints". You changed your hair again...looks good that way :) Take care, Gary

Thanks. OK but just OK. "Time of the Season." is a lot better. Isn't this about the time The Byrd's recorded Dylan's "Mr Tambourine Man"? Now that was a moment in music history.
