I didn’t like the mix on this video. You could barely appreciate the lead guitar and the bass.

Exactly. I think bass is poorly equalized and saturating the mix, making it too loud and obscure at the same time, and saturation is burying the backing and the guitars. And over this muddy block voice and sax are raised. Not the best mix ever. It also happens at Back to Black song, even better than this but worse sounding.
