At the beginning of Amy's Glastonbury 2007 concert she calls The Zutons one of her favorite bands and credits them. If there was no rivalry between them and she was classy enough to praise them, why are so many comments concerned with not only expressing their favorite, but so often find it necessary to put the other down. Amy is arguably one of the best female singers and greatest performers and she calls them one of favorite bands. Everyone should calm down. What's the difference which version is "better"?

+Michelle Herrera It would be like comparing Toots & The Maytal's Monkey Man to Amys... or the Clash's.... or Reel Big Fish's. Original is the slowest, Amy's is the most upbeat, RBF is the fastest/hardest, Clash's is the grimiest (i think its produced at a lower quality but it gives it a distinct 'live' sound) I'll have my own favourite of the different ones, but would never say one is 'better' than the other. I had listened to the Amy version a LOT over the past couple years, this is the first time I actually looked for the original.. and I'm surprised at how much I do like it despite it sounding SOOO different. Still probably prefer the Amy version, but that's just blatant homer-ism on my part... this version is still pretty kick ass!

Uh, last time I checked, this song was NOT produced by Zutons themselves. If it wasn't for some producer, this song would not have been arranged this way. Lol.

+008Invisibleman Hard to say, if they wrote the song themselves, and were performing it live in this style before it was ever recorded, then actually, a producer never arranged it, simply recorded the studio version with more clarity.
