zwerch hau is the best hau. excellent display of technique on that last play btw - the sort of double feinted zwerch into a proper attack is super difficult to make fluid and natural, i've never seen it done as well as that. also #sickles :)

Indeed, zwerchau is best hau, as stated by the author of MS 3227a: ''Here notice and remember that out of the whole art of the sword, no cut is as good, as honest, as ready, and as fierce as the crosswise cut. It goes across to both sides, with both edges (the front and the back), to all exposures (upper and lower), and when you cut across correctly, you counter and defend against everything that comes from above (meaning the high cuts and whatever else goes downward from above).'' #sickle

@@frenchgalloglass Yes, zwerch is a great sec, but it has to be done right to work properly. All you have to do is put your hands down slightly and there is already a risk of collision
