Not sure I'd agree. I started when you were lucky to get hold of a used magazine where I lived in the uk. I had to get on a plane to get some seeds and a quality book. There's only so much you can learn through looking and doing. We're lucky to have things like lab results and lectures which are all science based and we relied on bro science which was often wrong. Check out some of the lectures,dr bruce bugbee and Harley smith, and elaine ingham and the soil food web is out of this world.

I'm synthorganic type both offers pros and cons. Some synthetics offers stuff you can't get just organic and organics has properties you can't just get in synthetics. Finding a balance systems to preference to grower I think best.

I’m hooked on the grow dots , Gaia green and Dr earth . I’ve sprinkled a little Gaia green bloom a week before switching to flower 🌸 with grow dots. Flowers grew dense, fat, frosty and pretty till harvest.

It's hard to believe but we had one in the barn it really couldn't get to the daylight so it stretched really long. And it would grow to the top and then it would lay itself down on the tin until it got hot and then it would crawl back inside. When it started to Bud it took and wrapped itself around the eve of the barn were the top was gone. The only thing you seen was the bud sticking out at the top. I told the old timer I said every time you walk in here it's almost like it looks at you they're like that's what rudas do. It would lay down in the middle of the day when it was hot. You could pick it up it was limp as a piece of spaghetti. We had one in a field one time you got to be careful because it'll actually latch on to you. We had an old dog that would just lay right there beside it and gaurd it. It was the only way you could keep the groundhogs off of it. And we went out there one morning and the dog couldn't get off the ground because it had took and wrapped itself around it. So you got to be careful around those things I've actually had one rap it self around my wrist. It's hard to believe and I know people make up stories and people bulshit but I was laying back in a chair and we had one growing in the window one that I had made I took a cross-pollinated some hemp with some marijuana. I was sitting there smoking I don't know if I was hallucinating or what it was but it wrapped its self around my hand when I was smoking after I got done smoking it was showing me something either I was dreaming or I was hallucinating or the plant was actually showing me something but it took me on a trip I could explain the delusional fantasy I was having or the weed was that good but it actually showed me it's heritage and dude it was straight crazy it almost seemed like it was talking to me. It was actually telling me what it like it's hard to believe but it actually either something was happening i used to play it Cypress Hill. on repeat of course just because you know I like Cypress Hill. I also had that happen when I was staying at ramrods place too he said hey man there's somebody else that wants to talk to you I said what what are you trying to say that ain't nobody out here I'm looking at the camera he said no walk out back. And I was either having a delusional fantasy or you know I was just spazzed out but he's like the weed plants talk to me too. It's hard to believe it sounds like total bulshit but it happened. But a passion of mine is cross-pollinating a native plant around here that is Indian hemp it's all over the place it don't matter where you go I always see it. I would like to cross pollinate it with a hemp plant or eventually into a marijuana plant.

If you're into doing organics I know I keep repeating myself but I just wanted to make it really clear. You can use Miracle-Gro potting soil I think it has compost but also has synthetic nutrients. They have a really good potting soil that is meant for organic growing. It needs more power like because if not you're going to have root rot because it wont dry out fast enough just a DYI for the guys out there that are only organic but you still need to use a good blooming fertilizer for the later stage and I think you know for growing weed you're going to be a basically a clone guy because if you do start from seed it just seems like there's too much of a root ball for you know sea of green perpetual harvest a production style crop. If you do start from seed most of the time you can control the size of the plant by the container it's in but if you're trying to get yields it seems like it's a lot harder to get more yields from seed in a container grow. For a container girl I think clones are King. You can really base the amount of yield you get you just got to do more obviously but you can do smaller plants that don't have so much roots to where there's such a problem with nutrient lockout. Once they get Roots within 2 weeks they basically get into growing it takes two weeks to get roots on whatever size clone and then two weeks under a vegetative light or a vegetative cycle to just you know make sure there's not too much stress and then it's straight to the blooming chamber. That's a guaranteed result for results. If you have multiple plants you can do plants if you can keep it all in order once a day once a week once every two weeks I think once every two weeks is plenty it just growing weed is a lazy man's way of doing things. There's daily maintenance unless you're outside you know you let mother nature take care of mother nature and you're just going to basically make sure the water needs are there but if you're indoors you know you're just going to spray them down every day with water and then maybe turn on co2 a little bit I'm talking like a grow tent or a room and then basically just an eye for whatever comes your way as far as bugs and if you know you can do outdoors or a greenhouse I've seen some very impressive rock wool. Greenhouse hydroponics you got to make sure that you take and burn some sulfur before you take and get them into bloom because they are absolutely going to yield I've seen bugs that was big as Folger can and I actually seen one that was as big as a 5 gallon bucket it was just freaky looking you can actually have problems out of powder mildo. They get so dense that they can rot. 😂 There's a thousand ways to cook a fish sometimes genetics play of key role in the outcome of the plant to and if you work with it you know how it likes to be done you know your particular situation on how you get things done or whatever is what makes it what it is at the end. Stress can be a factor some people like to pick leaves or they leave leaves on that are starting to get nasty you need to take that away from the plants you need scissors to work and actually get that out because that's how problems start when you remove those leaves however it causes stress when you're taking and pulling leaves off or you're doing toppings and stuff like that that's all stressed that can slow things down. I also urge people to make their water 6.8 a little acidic if you're doing Coco Coco is a little on the alkaline side and you need to pull that down to where it'll be like 6.0 or 6.5 so it will equal out in the cocoa if you're using rockwool you know it's already pretty much a man-made product it's not going to have any problems. A good DYI go to potting soil Miracle-Gro makes it it's made for container growingit can feed up to 6 to 8 months in a clone that's just too much. They're going to be finished anywhere from 8 weeks to 20 weeks dependent on the variety I see a lot of people just looking at stock trichomes to kind of say oh well it's finished no look at the buds make sure the buds have swelled the calyx needs to swell up and it looks like it's got a seed in it when that's done the hairs are done all of that that's when you know if you actually do it like mother nature does it if it's a clone to harvest no other kind of perpetual harvest or nothing once it starts and it finishes you need to kind of mimic mother nature as it going into fall bring the temperature down bring the humidity down all of that place key factors it depends on what you know about mother nature. When you try to explain it like that often times it confuses people. There's a real thing that has to happen not always you can have genetics that are very very forgiving or you know your particular style of doing things is different so that's why it comes about being what it is sometimes it's perfect for you sometimes it's not for something else. I have been very passionate about cross-pollinating a local hemp plant it's called Indian hemp with a marijuana breed or actually cross-pollinating it with actual hemp then in breed it until I can get a stable genetic and then cross pollinate it with a marijuana breed. I've talked to some botanist And a herpetologist. It's something I'm very passionate about it grows wild all over the place there's like 15 or 20 of them here in the front yard I wish I could figure out a way to pollinate it to get a seed from the wild Indian hemp that was with hemp and then I could take him get a stable genetic or see the characteristics. And then make a rhododendron and make that into a h o w genetic. It's something I've been feeling passionate about now we just kind of relay it to the marijuana community to maybe be on the lookout for something that has hybrid vigor. Or if somebody with a better knowledge of doing things could actually produce that. We're not promised tomorrow and I hope somebody would take time to read this to maybe look into doing something like that there's guys out there that really have access to a better equipment and they have better knowledge of how too do those things

It's expensive because it all Natural, and the soil can be used in conjunction with top dressing, to last 10 yo 15 years. Where as the Synthetic Nuet companies basically want you to mix up a drum for the grow and pour the rest down the drain and come and buy more, You will visit Jeremy twice a year for total of 100 buck.

I'm a new grower , I started organic. I made a lot of mistakes, over fed , over watered, under lit, ran autos. My first harvest was wimpy AF, 1 ounce per 5 gallon fabric pot. All that said it was the best tasting a smelling weed I had ever smoked. I have to think it was the first organic cannabis I had ever tasted being from a prohibition state. I'm on grow number 7 now and have some grow dots that I'm eager to try. love the show

I prefer synganics due to the nutrients going directly to the roots asap and the organic matter as a battery in the soil along with microbes. No need to hang toward an extreme when you can have a solid blend of both.

The reason y an organic tomato from the grocery store may taste better and be more nutrient compact then the synthetic tomato has nothing to do with what kind of nutrients they were grown with it has more to do with more then likely that organic tomato was grown with Heirloom tomatos its all about genetics organic vs synthetic is just to keep us busy fighting while they destroy the genetics .....this video should be about companies like crisper not organic vs synthetic

hey scotty. im in michigan. ive just recently came across your channel about a year ago. already a HUGE fan. ive been growing for about 6 years now and was taught to use Petemoss (sunshine #4 soil), and synthetics up until recently so when i seen this video it prompted me to suggest semething for a possible future video on this very topic as well as hopefuly answer a couple questions. a sort of follow up on things myself and others commented on. within the past year ive recently started to use worm castings to amend my soil along side with general hydroponics flora trio with calmag and armor si and turpinator. im deffinatly getting much better stability throughout the cycle of growing, ESPECIALY during the vegetive cycle compared to NOT using the worm castings. what are some other organic meterials one could use to add into thier soil? also, i grow in OCTOPOTS, a hybrid system that allows half the root zone to be in soil and the other half to be in hydroponics. what would be organic that could be added into the water mixed with said nutrients without potentialy damaging the microbes of the organics? looking forward to seeing future videos and watching the channel evolve!

Hey bro, really appreciate your videos. A lot of your products and info have been a game changer for me, my room is ridiculous now. I'm wondering if you have any experience with Harpin Proteins to trigger the plants SAR (Systemic Acquired Resistance)?? There are studies on it by the NIH along with HLR22 (If I'm not mistaken) and they show to increase yield and heartiness of the plants. The couple of times I tried axiom (which seems to be one of the few harpin protein providers) my plants immediately fried LMAO.. Even if I put them on just before lights off, they still got fucked up. Maybe I applied too much. To me there is not much dialogue going on within the cannabis community regarding harpin proteins, but if the NIH themselves had a study I figure there has got to at least be some validity (maybe I should assume the opposite after recent events LMAO). Any insight on Harpin Proteins?

Then I DTE top when needed later. So Synth does serves a purpose in organic, and I do have a Cal-Mag synth on standby.

I do however think the grow dots is a little expensive would love to give it a try. I personally enjoy organic growing. If we're talking about a crop that is going to be seed to harvest or clone to harvest. Hydroponics is King in yield. I know you can use the organic potting soil that miracle grow makes you got to use extra perlite. In my opinion now you want to talk organic hydroponics you're going to be using cocoa 50/50 add cocoa and pearl alive but you got to be careful some of the cocoa has insect problems or mites. That's something with cocoa and you got Rockwool rock w are good starter. But if you're going to use an organic hydroponics set up such as cocoa and perlite you can use synthetic nutrients and the reason I say synthetic nutrients is because with organic nutrients or organic mediums it draws insects gnats you have problems with bugs. Anytime you're using any organic material it draws bugs unless of course you actually have a laboratory a sealed unit or a sealed place that has filtered air and when you do raise the CO2 in a confined space with bugs it can increase the bug activity. The bugs can explode. Unless it reaches 10,000 parts per million which that would be expensive to produce with a bottled gas. I've heard people say you can eat the room above 180 to 240 it will kill all the bugs. And we all know that you can get aphids from the seed it can actually germinate with the seed as it comes about and just some plants are naturally immune to pests and problems. You just got to find a certain genetic that does good for your situation. I've always used organic materials and then use a synthetic full spectrum with micro and secondary nutrients as a foliar feed with supplemental CO2 that's just using propane with a burner head turn it on every 2 hours and you know it creates a little bit of heat but nothing that's going to be too extreme you're only going to turn it on for maybe 5 to 10 minutes manually could be automated but you need that extra CO2 in my opinion. If you're outside you know nothing takes care of mother nature like mother nature. If you do have a mite problem in some of those gross situations you can get predator mites. That's not going to work for a tent grower that's in the house. A lot of the reason a lot of people don't like synthetic nutrients because it's got hard metals in it. If you even have organic vegetables tested sometimes they have hard metals because they're using synthetic nutrients. If you do buy organic foods you know they don't have preservers so you basically got to buy fresh per meal per day in my opinion. I used to train and eat vegan and vegetarian meals for when we would do jobs but the people who work for would supply all of that and you know it was under supervision of a doctor make sure that you know we were getting what we needed in our diet. It wasn't something homemade or you know that's the way you should eat know we had to make sure we was getting all the protein we needed and make sure you know the blood pressure and calories were right. As a human if you leave the country they warn you that people can eat things from native parts of the world that you cannot. Some of those things you can get here organic milk you're not allowed to consume those things. Some people it won't agree with your GI tract it'll make you sick. You have different enzymes in microbes in your gut and you got to have good gut health. That's for the FDA comes into play you know if it's sold commercially then it has to be compliant with most people's GI tracts. You know you go to Vietnam or you go to Bangkok they have stuff sitting out that's been in the sun all day and it's not been refrigerated and it's different. They don't have refrigeration or things like that and it makes it to where the average person in American or Canadian couldn't consume those things because your body is different. Just something to think about when you go out to different places to eat. Anytime you're trying to die you should also have medical supervision blood work and have your meals planned out just saying. A vegan or a vegetarian diet is great for your internal organs but it can be devastating to your structure your bones.

Also you can take weed plants you take the stock at the end of The grow season. Dig it up actually I've even left them so long that they would start to grow again come March. It's depending on what kind of growing season it is they're still some warm days in December and in January you know I used to grow weed with popcorn Sutton was a mentor of mine he had some of the best weed that I had smoked. Outdoors and then I had another friend by the name of ramrod both have passed away and ramrod would tell me that you know he would always dig up the stalk if it was a plant that did good no pesticides nothing just put it in the ground and basically didn't even water he liked plants that you didn't have to even touch. Ruda are those types of plants that you can just basically build a seed out on the ground and stand back. Once he found a variety that he could grow with no pesticides no bugs no problems minimum water if any water other than mother nature provided. We had a plant that we grown for 5 years. At the end of the season you would put a 4-foot fluorescent over it and just wait till about the second week of March before you pulled 24 hours of daylight off of it. We had one at the end of 5 years the stock was about the size of a 5-gallon bucket it was inside of a barn that the top was out and it absolutely grown outside of the barn probably 150 ft what it was is when you do maneuvers we had a chicken coop that we had took and cleaned out it just started to get too bad so we scooped up all the manure into a pile and the pile was probably about 10 ft tall but we let the manure rot for 10 years. All the manure that was left was about a John Deere small tractor bucket size and a half so a bucket and a half of chicken manure that had rotted for 10 years it actually started to burn the plant and then I used 2 square bales of straw. And then you know after it started to burn it it rained for about 2 weeks and it just exploded. It had been in revenge for probably 4 months until we put the fertilizer on and then you know it was probably already 8 to 10 ft tall and then it just exploded like I said it had started to show signs of getting old I've had ramrod show me plants he'd been growing for 10 years he said after 5 years they just really slow down they won't get big the buds are good but it's not as many buds but he would dig up the root ball every year and bring it in the house around November. How about the second week of March or the first day of April he would put it back outside you know very in sizes from 3 to 4 ft tall. But that was one of the biggest plants that I had ever grown and it took and filled up an entire tobacco Barn from top to bottom it took till almost February to get it all cut up and processed. Plus I gave half of the way I gave away four truckloads of it. Full size truck loads. It lasted 5 years plus I gave half of it away that's when we finally cut it down it took an axe I tried to use a chainsaw and it just wouldn't cut it.

Hey Scotty, last run I tried organic. Is it part of the fungal soil-life if there are growing little mushrooms everywhere out of my fabric pots?

A blend of both... The organics because it gives an earthy, strong flavor, and synthetics for the rest of the profiles.

This is not a philosophy or a religion. it's all about the taste of the product, the saturation of the terpene. Organic always tastes better than synthetics. bacteria and fungi are good, but there is another main indicator of soil EC.

Hi Scottie , I had stated in a previous video that I just bought my first bag of dots and was asking about autos….so I really am curious, will two teaspoons per gallon really be enough for normal feeding? It just seems like so little. Also, will the plant use castings if there’s dots in it? Kinda synganic😂

If you are using a soil media t=you will be fine with 10 mg per gallon but if you are using and inert media like coco you will want 15 mgs

I got a question. Do y'all flush? The reason I ask that is because I have some feeding charts that say flush for 2 weeks. Then I'll read online and some people say they do three two or one day flush. I just harvested my plant without flushing and I get white ash and it tastes really good it's really gassy so I'm not sure if I should flush or not.

I see a lot of organic growing or growing in Cocoa you got to give the organic nutrients that you give to the plants thyme in the roots to actually feed. If you take in Port of water in it until it's pouring it out the bottom you're actually flushing the nutrients out before they get time to even absorb those nutrients unless the roots are actually coming out the bottom there's actually a catch Trey to where they can actually feed. A lot of people that I know like to use a foliar feed at half strength a full spectrum nitrogen phosphorus and potassium fertilizer with macro and secondary nutrients. You can just use something cheap it makes it right now available and it don't have to be processed to the roots. But when you do use organic nutrients in the soil or cocoa medium if it draws bugs. And you know there's really some good synthetic nutrients out there but you know you build salts up in the soil it can be toxic to the plants root health is number one. I've seen people do organic hydroponics but it just brings in so many bad things like bugs funga problems. I think synthetic nutrients are king in hydroponic solutions. I've seen some very very impressive outdoor hydroponics that were very much next level in the yield was triple

Also to talk about vegans or a vegetarian diet a vegetarian diet keeps you slim a real vegan is usually chunky instead of drinking milk which has animal fat you drink milk almond milk it has a byproduct soy that sewing makes you fat it can actually build up fat around your internal organs which is bad for you. And you don't get tired like people that have an omnivore diet which some people consider a vegan diet to be an omnivore diet because they do consume some animals it's usually seafood. Like I say it's great for your internal organs but sometimes you can consume so much soy that it's bad for your internal organs that's why you need to contact the doctor and have blood work to make sure that you know you're healthy. But humans are naturally omnivores that means they have not only teeth that can grind but teeth that can bite. They have bicuspids that are made for tearing flesh. For a human technically to be healthy they have to eat an omnivore diet or consume enough protein to make everything else happy. Humans are very complex. I technically look at humans as being the most dangerous animal in the world. even though they don't look as humans as being animals or things like that but there are humans that are considered feral or Savage if you can believe it or not. What you ultimately got to please is the brain the computer. We have studied people that the brain is what actually can kill you you're at war with yourself. Sometimes people take pleasure in or other things that people just absolutely despise. Different strokes for different folks. It's what makes us all different and it's what makes us human. Some humans live in different environments that makes their GI tract different the way they eat is different all of that makes what we are as a human or a person or a personality. Sorry I went there but you know I figured I needed to say a little more so I didn't look like a total idiot. I will say this I do not profess to be no genius or somebody that knows it all I'm just me and that's my personality trait.

@scottyreal420 Good evening growmies. I have a question. I ve been growing in coco perlite and Gaia green worm castings. My nutrients used were 444 all purpose Gaia green. I’ve been using recharge every 7 days with calmag silica and seaweed extract. My plants are in one gallon pots. 6 plants. I have 4 bags of grow dots the small bag 75g. My plants are at least 2.5 ft. My question is Can I can I repot in 3 gallon fabric pots coco perlite worm castings and grow dots 45-50ml per pot veg for 5 more weeks then flip to flower 8/04/24?

No Grow Dots are designed to last a grow cycles, the Blue bag will give you a 4-6 week veg period and a 10 week bloom. the green bag or ex veg formula, will veg for 8-10 weeks and bloom for 10 weeks.

Build-a-soil sucks! The technique goes against everything that's been established. Google how to grow marijuana. Huge pots lead to huge plants...they often get spider mites and drown in a flood. 25-100 gallon pots may veg for 5-6 months AND DIE. He's using cover crops and spider mites.....ITS FOR A FARM OR GARDEN YOU DO NOT WANT THIS IN YOUR CLOSET, TENT, GARAGE, OR BASEMENT. 4-7 gallon pots. Dirt needs 33%-50% perlite. SOILLESS needs 10-20% it also grows faster, doesn't drown, and does not often contain two-spotted spider mites! GOOGLE GROWING MARIJUANA...WATCH LEX BLAZER OR MR. CANUCK GROWS. food is food, synthetic is ready to use. Organic needs microbes. DONT PUT BIRD FECES IN YOUR HOUSE!
