So kind of suprised you left the end out. I know it happened in Lost Galaxy but during the teamup they used it one last time to battle Psycho Pink and the megaship itself was eventually destroyed by the Scorpion Stinger near the end of Lost Galaxy, though a Megaship 2.0 was built on KO 35 and used by the Red Rangers to get to the moon to stop Serpentara

Actually, there are very few similarities between the Astro Megaship and the USS Defiant. The 3 biggest differences are in the following sentences. The Astro Megaship is more saucer shaped than the Defiant, in addition to the Megazord arms being positioned onto the underside of the Astro Megaship's primary hull. Plus, the Astro Megaship is, at least, 2 decks larger than the Defiant.

I felt that this was the first time the mecha designs grew up for power rangers, the astromega was very well designed from a functionality standpoint and really lead me into my love of Gundam Wing that came a year or 2 later, I don't remember. Love this Zord.

The Delta Megazord wasn’t Zane’s zord, that was the Mega Winger. The Delta Megazord was remote controlled by the red ranger who was given it by the Phantom Ranger.

There are more zords than what you mentioned in Power Rangers in Space: Astro Megashuttle, Astro Megaship, Astro Megazord, Delta Megaship (Delta Megazord), Astro Delta Megazord, Mega Voyager, Mega Winger (Warrior Mode), Mega V1, Mega V2, Mega V3, Mega V4, Mega V5, and Winged Mega Voyager (basically a Megazord). You did mentioned the Astro Megashuttle and the Astro Megaship and how they combined to become the Astro Megazord. You did not mention the Delta Megaship or Delta Megazord, the Astro Delta Megazord (combined from the Astro Megashuttle, Astro Megaship, and Delta Megaship), Mega V1, Mega V2, Mega V3, Mega V4, Mega V5, Mega Winger, and the Winged Mega Voyager (combined from the Mega V1, Mega V2, Mega V3, Mega V4, Mega V5, and Mega Winger), and Mega Voyager (combined from the Mega V1, Mega V2, Mega V3, Mega V4, and Mega V5; basically a Megazord). The Mega Vehicles were basically zords assigned to the rangers: V1, V2, V3, V4, and V5, plus Mega Winger. The Mega Vehicles could combine to form two different Megazords: The Mega Voyager and the Winged Mega Voyager. This what you get for making a Power Rangers themed channel. See there were more zords in this season (Power Rnagers in Space). What happened to them?

Delta Megazord was destroyed by Red Ecliptor, Mega Voyager was destroyed by Tankenstein, the Mega Winger was destroyed by a Velocifighter, and the Megaship was self-destructed by the Galaxy Rangers to stop Trakeena

I'd like to see videos or a video about the other In Space Megazords. The Mega Voyager, the Mega Winger and the Delta Megazord. I must say one of the reasons I love In Space is because of the Star Trek inspired themes, the ships and going to other planets. As some of you already know I'm a Star Trek fan, so when I first saw In Space I came to love it. I didn't see it as a rip off and I still don't, but I feel that it is inspired and maybe a little influenced by it.

Hey wait a second! The Power Rangers in Space DID use the Astro Megazord one more time! In their crossover with the Lost Galaxy Rangers! Sadly in their final battle with Trakeena the Astro Ship was destroyed. It was however rebuilt a while later as we see in the Forever Red Episode.

Nothing on the other Zords like the Delta Ship or the Wing Flyer? One thing I really liked and remembered about In Space are the ship Zords. The smaller individual zords didn't do much for me. I didn't realize the In Space morphers still exist since the Astro Megaship still technically exist if not mothballed. IF I remember right, the Delta Ship and Wing Flyer both got destroyed near the end of the season like many zords do in the last 4-5 episodes.

I noticed that you didn't mention that the Astro Megazord was used one last time to team up with the Galaxy Megazord to fight Psycho Pink and later in Part 2 of the Power Rangers Lost Galaxy series finale, the Astro Megaship was completely destroyed and later rebuilt for Forever Red on Power Rangers Wild Force. I sometimes wonder if the Astro Megaship 2 is capable of transforming into the Astro Megazord or it's incapable of doing that now because the shuttle was destroyed or was it rebuilt as well? What are your thoughts about this burning question of mine?

Just finished watching In Space for the first time since I was a kid and I gotta say it's weird that the Astro Shuttle was made my NASADA and not sounding like it was meant to be for the Rangers (they had to ask NASADA for it) but Alpha has codes to unlock the transformation. Meanwhile the Megaship was created by Zordon and Alpha 5 on Eltar (according to the Fandom wikia page, if it was mentioned in the show, I missed that). But the first time Zane sees it transform, he remarks that he had no idea the Megaship could do that. Maybe it's covered in a comic or something, maybe Zordon gave NASADA the designs to make it for the Rangers, because it's also weird that Justin just goes up to the base and tells them the Power Rangers need it and they give it to them with no objection.

Hey there Sixth Ranger. Hope that everything is going well for you. I just wanted to say thank you for this new video that dealt with the Astro Megazord. I do agree with you that the Astro Mega Ship was pretty much inspired by Star Trek, which did help make this Power Rangers series more enjoyable, in my opinion. I also have to admit that the Megazord design for Power Rangers in Space was really interesting and reminded me a lot of a Headmaster from the Transformer line of toys. Other than that I just wanted to say that this information you gave us in the video was incredible. I really don't know that the Astro Mega ship was built by Zordon and Alpha. I just assumed that it was developed on Andros' home planet, just because there was no really information given in the series or I missed some major episodes. Anyways, thank you once again for this wonderful video. I do hope that everything goes well for you guys and I can't wait to see more Power Rangers related videos from you soon. Great video, but there is more to the Mega Ship's story. During the final battle with Trakeena, the Galaxy Rangers self destruct the Mega Ship in an attempt to destroy her ship. During the 10th Anniversary episode, Forever Red, Andros has rebuilt the Mega Ship and all the past red rangers use it to fly to the moon to fight the remaining members of the Machine Empire.

After it was destroyed at the end of lost galaxy it was rebuilt sometime between lost galaxy and the forever red episode of wild force caused andros revealed the Astro megaship mark II as the red rangers way of getting to the moon to stop the remaining machine empire from getting ahold of Serpentera which are actually repurposed beetleborg suits

Even though it is very likely that Zordon (and probably Ninjor, too) did have a hand in having the ship commissioned for construction, the Astro Megaship was NOT constructed by Zordon and Alpha 5, and it was NOT constructed on Eltar. The Astro Megaship was actually constructed by Kerovan humans in the shipyards of KO-35, which is also the same place that the Astro Megaship's successor, the Astro Megaship, Mark 2, was constructed. And construction of the first Astro Megaship most likely occurred during the ZEO Era of Power Rangers, as that would also fit in with the timeline of events occurring on KO-35 before the start of the In Space Era of Power Rangers as indicated in the show itself. You are also getting some of your facts wrong about the Astro Megaship's service record during the events of Power Rangers In Space, and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Plus, you failed to mention that the first Astro Megaship was destroyed by order of self-destruction at the end of the Lost Galaxy Era of Power Rangers.

What I want to know is, when the Astro-megaship turned in the Astro-megazord and actually started fighting monsters and getting beaten up etc. how did the ship itself not get damaged? Did the Rangers have to physically repair it themselves each time? Did they have to tidy up all their belongings after each battle after they got rattled around the ship?

I’m surprised that you skipped the ending of the Astro Megaship. In the end the Lost Galaxy Rangers use its self destruct mode to destroy Trakeena’s own ship and was ultimately destroyed. Years later in Wild Force Andros can be seen piloting an Astro Megaship 2. And that’s the true end of the Original Astro Megaship.

Speaking of Star Trek I never really Noticed this before but the shape of the In Space Astro Megaship really resembles the DS9's USS Defiant. The Rangers even have Space Uniforms too when they are in their Civilian forms, just like in DS9. Of sorts. I wonder was Star Trek an Inspiration for In Space? Hahahahahahahaha. 🤣
