@M Simmons Hmm, its widely know that its not accepted within majority of black circles to be vulnerable for various reasons -maybe you live in a shitty neighborhood and you cant be a swimming with sharks if you look like a fish -idk nor is mental health a priority or taken seriously within the black community for the most part so i just disagree and think that if you or I were saying the same thing and were emotional about it, we would become the butt of a joke.... but yeah honestly coonmics like DC young fly get on my nerves, hes very much so a modern day minstrel... peace

The thing about DC young fly is he’s SO young minded! I can’t relate to most of what he’s saying but it’s that different generation. For his generation he’s a success but it was different mindset for him getting there. I’m of the opinion that “fake it till you make it” causes the issues of people putting too much into the faking it part. If you focused on making it you should not care about how you look to others. Why? Either one or two things: you should be so busy that folks don’t see you and 2 when they do, you should look like what you are: busy! If you gotta do that fake it till you make it, then you better be UNDER 21 years of age!

There is always moves being made in the background that equal smart business! By putting the special out on KZbin he can now show how many people are in his core audience from views and take advantage of monetization from the watch hours and engagement of the viewers. He can use the analytics to leverage his future deals since he now has factual DATA to show how many are tuning in to support Ali Siddiq as a brand since there were no openers or additional names to boost to attract an audience. It would be great get him under the 85 South media umbrella and keep adding to his brand! He is in a great position!!!!

First off Ali is one of my favorite comics the min The Domino Effect drop I was right there waiting, instant classic and hands down one of THE BEST comedy specials of the year and 85 South is one of my favorite podcast!! So when I saw the title I flipped and my god as Lous said ALI WAS IN HIS BAG this episode THAT MOMENT froze the entire trap, like DC, mannnn I had to hold back tears. Ali's passion for his message rings out not only in that moment but throughout his entire body of work which I highly suggest you listen too. Shootout the entire crew on the transition from that moment back into conversation absolutely seamlessly as well, shows the years of work but into the craft. Absolutely one of my favorite episodes I really hope this one wins and award for The Christmas Trap Awards Show 🔥🔥
