My 25 year old daughter unexpectedly passed away last year. She kept telling me about a funny comedian and how she was going to buy tickets to his Milwaukee show in 2024. This special just happened to pop up in my feed, so I took it as a sign that my daughter wanted her mom to laugh again. It is ironic that I watched this special on the day A.S. is scheduled to perform in Milwaukee. Thank you for making me laugh, Mr. Saddiq. This is exactly what I needed. I understand why my daughter loved your comedy. I wish you continued success.

The 80s were wild as hell. I was a latchkey at 4 years old. And responsible for my little brother, who was 2. In 1987, I was practically a single parent. At 4. 😊❤

@barbararouwendal8708 Жыл бұрын
yeah, but Ali is extreme intelligent. When he does that, it has to be under his terms 100% or not at all. A standup comedian needs to be free in his/her art and Netflix has to understand that and respect that. He doesn't need Netflix. He's special, one of a kind, that is his signature. I think that's what might be the thing. His audience will look for him and find him anyway. Look at his subscribers and likes here... But yeah, if he will be on Netflix I will def watch lol, meanwhile, we have this great video. Thanxxxxx

As a bed-bound person, I watch this special at least once a day, and each time I notice something I hadn’t seen before. The way Ali switches between characters as he tells his story is amazing. I’ve paused the action at ‘Charles and the pistol’ to watch again how Ali uses his talents to perfection!

As funny as this is, it’s also tragic this has been the story for so many of our boys, and many of them don’t make it out.
