Darren Korb and Austin Wintory are WIZARDS. According to Wintory, this made the London recording orchestra WORK lmao

Can you link to where they said that? I'd love to read more

Watching you try to follow the complexity of this piece is the most entertaining thing I've seen all week. You're amazing, but it you also go to show how much they cooked with "Olympus Aflame"

I remember when I first got to the part where this plays. It really felt like a whole orchestra went hard behind me while I fought. Unbelievably good!

This one is 7/8 read as 2+2+3 (or 4+3), right? EDIT: it's MOSTLY 7/8 but there are occasional extra beats as 4/4 or even a 9/8 somewhere. Source: look up Olympus Aflame As Noted
@akiseph771511 күн бұрын
It's a lot of different patterns of 7/8. A lot of times it's 2+2+3 but it often switches to a 3+3+1 pattern in the brass which you really don't see a lot which is why it's so tricky. I had to sit with it for a while to sus out the patterns

@@akiseph7715oh so that's why the brass feels like it's off-beat with those single chords Damn

I would't mind the 7/8 if it wasn't for those devious extra beats thrown in randomly 😅
