If you want a good fabric source for your t-shirt you should try to find the manufacturer who made the “made in Japan” levis made and crafted shirt. I love mine so much, it’s so thick and soft, better than any shirt I’ve ever worn

The Studio D'Artisan x Okayama Denim "Kasezome" bomber jacket just ran for $395... Only $100 more than the snail prologue.. wayy more bang for your buck imo Naked and famous jackets are available anywhere and everywhere... SDA is the first one of the Osaka 5.... Hand dyed sashiko with a lining (very similar to SDA leather jackets) Orders started Oct 6th.. I've been wearing mine for 2 days

You wouldn't wanna add this one onto the collection you already have 😂😂 you'd be disappointed N&f uses denim rejected by japanese mills/brands for use as domestic 'japanese denim' and thus is exported to Canada by em Levi's, lee, Wrangler have always used great denim! Even now.. it's not bad or anything. You should consider brands with better fabric like pure blue Japan and studio d'artisan.. they've got my favourite jackets! It is crazy that these got hyped to the point that they sold out in 20mins lmfao N&f jackets are all over SSENSE (a high/fast fashion retailer) who have 50% off sales 4 times a year 🤣🤣🤣 like bruh... Get your tragic blonde sh*t outta here I'm sticking to the piggies of Osaka 5 og's - but that's just me 😅 So many unique and interesting fabrics with those guys! A sub brand of theirs - maru sankaku peke does patchwork 😍😍 everything made in Japan!

Naked and Famous using second hand denim, etc. is totally fabricated (pun) Besides that though you’re looking at a retailer discounting a product. Ssense carries a lot of N&F and are most likely clearing some inventory to purchase new collections/seasons. Nothing wrong with discounting stock to get it moving when you need the newest/faster selling stock The scale of N&F and infrastructure is totally different than the brands you’re mentioning and they have completely different business models and marketing tactics Items going on sale doesn’t mean they aren’t of quality or that items that don’t go on sale are better. Lastly, the Osaka 5 are no different with their markups…they just don’t run sales or distribute to a lot of retailers That’s not to say those brands aren’t amazing and worth all the praise that they get. They make some unreal pieces, 100%. However does that discount N&F? Not a bit

@@TheIronSnail n&f is still the only brand to regularly have a 50% markdown on their products Even when retailers of the other brands like okayama denim and corlection are tryna clear stock it goes down to -25% at most.. never half off! (That's ridiculous) N&f is able to produce their jeans for less than half the price that they sell them for.... And with pbj, sda and samurai those two numbers (what you're paying and how much it costs to produce) are much closer! Ofc the other brands have markups haha no one can sell you stuff at a 0 profit.. need to have margins to keep the lights on but n&f markups are similar to high fashion like LV or Gucci Ssense and their 50% off sales are popular among the crowd that purchase that kinda stuff

Hey Michael, I’ve been following you for sometime now and I don’t even know how to put into words how inspiring you are to me. Seeing your vision come to life and springing you onto the next steps of your journey is motivational to say the least. I’ve commented before when something you have said strikes a cord with me and rn just seeing your hard work that you share, shit even don’t share behind the scenes, is making me comment again. I’ve been wanting to start my own clothing brand for years now and I took up sewing back in 2017 because I wanted to make my own denim as I could never find quality pants that fit right. And truth be told I’m amazing but I’m also scared and timid. I’m sure you’ve felt the same and maybe still do too. But like you did it… you really did it! And idk man just seeing that makes me realize I’m putting to much pressure on myself. And not everything has to be perfect and that I just need to do it too. Congratulations Michael! You deserve all the success in the world! I know this was a long ramble but I just can’t describe how emotional you made me and the Iron Snail has made me. Hey Levi! Thank you! Portugal actually has an incredibly rich history in textile manufacturing that goes back to the 18th century and I connected with a manufacturer that (so far) seems incredible in all aspects As of right now they seem to be the best place to go to maximize quality to price without sacrificing any integrity - I’m still looking into other mfgs too so I can see what would even be different between locations I’ll do a whole video on why I chose certain mfgs, etc!!

I just want to say I’m so happy too see the result and glad I snatched one up. That day we were hosting friends of friends, who were actually moving to Portugal. They came and stayed a few nights. We set them up and said our good night. As I was waiting I heard a scream. It was muffled and not particularly loud. As I listened I noticed it was not a strong yell, so it didn’t seem to be of fright or pain. It continued to drone on very steadily. I then heard a voice yell in exasperation “WHAT DO YOU WANT!?”. I moved to my front door and realized it was my upstairs tenant. A 94 year old women was yelling, as a child does, until she ran out of breath. Her daughter was trying to discern why she was doing this. Now by this time it was 11:50. I when and sat down in the living room across the door, I knew I had to get my self ready and figure out my plan to buy the jacket. But the constant wailing made it difficult to concentrate. This was compounded with the arrival of the paramedics. About 3 of the ambled up the stair to their apartment. I looked at the clock 11:55. As I waited I heard them confer with the daughter. Still the howl continued. I listened as the paramedics tried to reason with the the old women, but she made no response. Seemingly at the same time the preorder went live as the were carrying her down in the stretcher. I haphazardly secure my prologue and they made a steady exit. With the order confirmations in hand, I watched them take her to the hospital. Though you may never see this I just wanted to share this bizarre story 😂. Hand under knee this is true. Before even ordering it I’m already making memories with this jacket. I wish you the best, and can’t wait for the wool jacket.
