This is the same Papoose that Sean from Bikes and Beards didn't make it home on. Maybe there's good reason for that, but I'm going to try it anyway.
Check out my awesome RM250 Rebuild • 27 year old DIRT BIKE ...
Take a look at this sweet barn find! • Can I Get this old Bar...

After watching Shawn and Craig over the Months,I always figured that Craig was the brains behind this well oiled operation........after further analysis I have determined that it's really Dan!

My daddy bought me one of these in about 1968 when I was 10. Here in the UK it was known as the Corgi and I only found out about the Indian connection many years later when restoring one as a nostalgia project. Mine was a 1948 MK1 with no kick start and only bump start option and came in two wooden tea chests and cost 30/- (that is thirty shillings in 'old money' or £1.50 about $2US). We (he) rebuilt it in an afternoon and I was happily riding it down the road in the evening in a cloud of 2-stroke smoke. I felt like the king of the road.

Either way now with that papoose finished, you'll be all set to ride right out of your future airplane! The final test is to drop yourself and bike into a parachute and make sure it's still safe for the orig. Mission. Lol. Great work and like the new schedule!

Welwyn is pronounced Well-in. Why was it called the Corgi? Well a good alternative would might have been Dachshund. But can you see a German name going on a device during WW2? The actual development was undertaken at a country house called The Frythe, just outside Welwyn. This was home to the Special Operations Executive (SOE) who ran agents into occupied Europe and developed all sorts of James Bond type weapons. It was named Station IX and closed in 1946. It has been renamed and the building converted into flats set amongst an exclusive gated community called Wilshere Park.
