RG: form was nice, but he needs to work on his strength, if not, then his speed with his hands because he got blown up 5 yards soon as the ball snapped. He does have nice form and he drop exceptionally but he can’t get blown up 5 yards right off the snap of the ball. Unacceptable. AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BUNCH FORMATION!! W Waldron!

@@The_Football_Scout I doubt it. Here kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJrMfGVni998ldE is some o-line play from last year. The 1st 23 minutes shows that when the Bears called for Fields to drop back they also called for the o-line to clear out, no one to be in the backfield for Fields to throw to etc. The only other o-line-wrecker I'm aware of is Frank Reich who _also_ thought he was 'tricking opposing defenses' by removing blocking on plays with long to develop routes. The thing is, it's not Getsy doing this. We _know this_ because if Eberflus *could call* the better plays we saw in weeks 8-10 of '22 & 11, 14-17 of '23, then why retain Getsy *AND* let him ruin your offense? also how _would_ Getsy sneak those plays on in front of a guy who called the better plays? & what kind of HC meddles _in_ the o-line anyway? The same kind who returns to worse play-sets after seeing better ones gain more success: a micro-manager. RJ has been measured as being faster with the ball in his hands than in practice or at the combine. A micro-manager will never care about that. They live to tweak. They will fix you "in practice" in both senses or they won't allow you onto the field & there's nothing in RJ that needs fixing. You just give him the ball & watch him gain more yards than the play called for. Either that or Eberflus did this to intentionally sabotage Fields so they'd have an excuse to move on from him. Both things can be true actually. Either way, the fact that they went out to get Swift when their RB room is already full shows they don't have faith in who they already have.

Man, this may be a backhanded compliment but, you are great at just generating content to your channel which is something I’ll learn from for sure. However coming from a football, it’s a bit premature to try to study the OL from this crappy angle and day 1 training camp. Again, it drives views to your channel which I think is awesome

I never understood the o lineman shit why not get guys that are lean and muscular like the defensive lineman it'll be better than some bigger more fatter players going up against more lean and fit players just dont make sense to me

I would start Bagent and see how the o line holds up this year not because he a back up or anything but he already started with that o line so he’s the best man for the job to me I honestly don’t think Caleb should start right away he already running in practice and he said he don’t like to run

​@@JamieTwin I agree man, we've been making some good moves and addressed a lot of concerns, but not the O line. The middle to the left is swiss cheese and lose to bullrush moves consistently. The pocket was always crazy last year and its lookin like more of the same. I'm totally a believer that you can ruin good QBs and get them into those bad habits of always feeling pressure, the urge to scramble, hurried throws/reads and messy mechanics that follow. Like you said, Caleb is already running for his life out there in practice. That ain't a good thing for a qb to learn to rely on. or maybe it all works out, the oline is dominant and caleb balls out of his mind. That would be sick too 😂

I'm tired of hearing same ole thing every year " how great the defense gonna be" Prove it then! anyway Always gonna come down to how good Justin Field ends up being that's the stigma that's gonna follow pace but idk if Jayden daniels start for washington he might be my favorite for Rookie of the year. The bears gotta reverse the curse and develop a perennial pro bowler at QB thinking Caleb might be the one but it starts with stacking high performance days throughout practices
