I’m late to the party myself here. This just popped up on my feed. At first I wasn’t drawn into it, but the Hermit card and 3oS are the cards I look at. What kept me watching the flip through is the duality within each card. There is this free-flowing energy of the main image, but constraints/rigidity of the geometric lines (reminds me if sacred geometry and Thoth). Having both options on a card adds nuance and I can see it very helpful in a given reading (which is grabbing me, flow or restriction). I don’t like the image on the box and that card because if feels out of place with collage-like faces. I love that several cards depict more than one face on the main character. About the 3oS…what came to mind is the person is temporarily lost in sorrow/pain, but with the hands in a “stop-like” gesture says, “Please, let me have time to myself to grieve and get through this. I’m still here and I’ll be back [stronger and empowered]”.

What an interesting and unusual deck... not what I was expecting. The Fool ressembles Janus the Roman god of beginnings and endings, doorways and transitions..Worth buying for the King of Wands alone... Some stunners in here:the Teacher, the Hermit, 8 of Cups, 8 of Swords and many others.. I can feel a pre order coming on...Thanks for the heads up... again... : )

Wow, I LOVE this deck. Very Greek-feeling. Oh no, another deck I need. But the orb in the Emperor card is commonly seen in the card because the Holy Roman Emperor was given an orb and scepter when coronated, but their orb had a cross on the top. This deck nicely replaced the cross with a feather.

That’s the only thing I can ever find to complain about with Liminal 11’s decks; I wish they would allow more room in the guidebooks for the artists to comment on their choices in the art. Liminal 11 publishes such interesting artists who often do art quite different from RWS. It’d be so nice if we could hear why they chose to represent the cards in the way they did.

I saw it on FB a while ago but at the time it didn't engage me. However, seeing it here completed is a different story - the artwork is beautiful! I love that short, stubby size card too. It does appear to he a mish-mash of RWS/Thoth systems, yet with it's own imagery - wish the book went into detail about the symbolism chosen. Thanks for the walk through Simon 🖤

Ooh Simon, If you go back to that tower card and turn it upside down, that 'missing piece' appears to loosely resemble the the sculpture 'The Pieta' where you see Mary holding Jesus in her arms as he dies. This time they look as though they are both falling from the tower. The tower looks like a cathedral. Could it be the clergy falling from grace?

SIMON I don't know what more to say about this deck, every card was so Beautiful, . I fell in love with the Hermit card and when I saw the King of Wands that did it with that lion in the background .I Pre ordered the deck from Amazon. Thank you for sharing another Amazing deck. 🥰😘❤

Well that’s a fun surprise! I like that Liminal 11 seems to be putting out a variety of deck sty,es and aesthetics. There were some beautiful images....although I think my favorite is The High Priestess. I get why they chose it for the cover. 😍

Pre-ordered this deck on amazon a while ago but after your walk through have had to pre-order a second deck. As you were going through them I can see patterns of some of the Gods and Goddess within each card which I really like. Thank you for sharing look forward to getting them and working with them.
