I built some of that bridge and skinny you rode at 4:58. It’s awesome to see a first timer’s perspective of the trails where I learned to ride! You did a few lines I’ve yet to try yet

What a trip down memory lane-thank you for bringing this back to me. I took a BC trip with my homies back in 2018, and we hit most of these Squamish trails. In all honesty you guys rode amazingly well where we balked on a lot of the most sketchy stuff. Two things in your video had me smiling extra huge. First, your enthusiasm was so infectious-had me wanting to book a flight with my bike tomorrow! Second, your filming today was next level. On and off the bike, you captured the essence of this playground so well. I don’t even know how you got that follow sequence of Rex-it was so smooooth! Finally, mad props for your commitment and skill this week. I think you’re ready to ride with Remy!

I live in Squamish and it was cool seeing an outsider perspective of trails I probably take for granted. Especially when you said how lucky people are that live here... I had to take a pause as it really did remind me of how lucky I am to live here. Solid day and effort put in too by the way. Some of those slab lines are legit when you're perched on the top of them looking down!

I just got back from a Whistler trip and while we were up there we rode Alice Lake and Diamond Head. Everyone in our group left the trip talking about how good Squamish was. It was unbelieveable. Half Nelson was seriously the best flow trail I've ever ridden. Personally I'm a tech guy so the Alice Lake trails were more fun to me, but I'm pretty sure the next trip we plan up there we might just spend a week in Squamish and only a couple days in Whistler.
@chasingepic6 ай бұрын
Lots of great tech over on Diamond Head too, Robert... Angry M, Somewhere Over There, Cakewalk, 19th Hole. Also, Pemby is a gold mine for steep tech!

If anyone “poo poo’s” the laps you guys did…they can pound salt! I ride this stuff on the daily, and if you are not accustomed to the terrain, it’s super intimidating. I have toured friends (really solid riders) around those trials, and there have been lots of close call, crashes, and walkers. Well done, let me know do you want to explore a little more off the beaten path, there’s some beauty trails out there. Most people would have been satiated after Gouranga, I like that you guys took one more short lap to Dirks. That’s a solid day.

Totally agree. Doing it on the regular is one thing when it is your backyard (like when I do these trails tomorrow). Doing it first time on things like Bearly Adequate is awesome. Well done

We used to have really cool trails like this that were created by some random bike dudes in my area when I was young. They were not public, they were hidden down off the side of the bridge. You could drive past them and never know they were there because of the tree coverage. I tried one of the trails once when I was like 10 or so... I still remember catching air on a jump I didn't realize would be so big. Exhilarating, but terrifying. I'm two minutes into this video, and like - Welp. I was right, this is not the sport for me. 10-year-old me was right. XD Beautiful scenery though!
