for us stealth or 3-1 split solo charged then spam is the quickest and probably most dmg output to safely wipe an area or patrol without risking a reinforcement drop on you.

yeah after the intro i skipped a few minutes and when i noticed, he used the tap fire even after like 20 minutes and never even tried to use the charged shots more, i kinda skipped the whole video. But it's also nice to see some situations, where tap fire can work as well like against Gunships, where i just want to get them out of my face. So i still learned something

Although quick fire on Purifier is surely an excellent feature, its charge up mechanic was made extremely powerful in comparison to what it was previously and in terms of power and ammo eficiency it's the best way if possible to use in combat, bigger damage and AoE, the quick fire as of now is best used for quick saves in close up combat, it solved a problem the weapon had in its prior iteration, while at the same time rewarding and encouraging charge up shots. If you play Purifier only like a Scorcher your damage performance is worse, cash in the big and splash damage when possible, and when in danger of close combat: quick fire.

What I love about these new updates is that the guns feel as destructive as they look. They do the damage you expect them to do and have the impact you’d need them to have. There’s no more looking at a Devastator and wondering “why do I have to mag-dump this Scorcher to kill them?”

Purifier has been my go-to for Bots since it came out. It used to be like a slow firing marksman rifle, but now it's like an OICW. You can burst fire and magdump like a firehose, or you can charge up and dumpster truck targets with some accuracy. It's everythign great aobut the scorcher, and everythign great about the Purifier all in one package.

Gonna comment before I forget, so sorry if you find this out in the course of the vid: Thermites should stick anywhere on a fab and destroy it. Senator should 4 shot Hulks in the eye and 2 shot striders in the groin. It's not ideal, but if for some reason you don't have time to switch to AP ammo, fire into the dropship's belly and you should kill any passengers smaller than a hulk, and hulk's will be injured. I think you are undervaluing the max charge shots on the purifier too! :)

FYI: dropship "head" can recochet recoiles rounds. and be careful shooting down dropships with factory striderson them, especially before they start to reverse thrust. that crashing scrap of metal will destroy and kill everything in its path, including the generators we need to protect.

Btw sometimes the new AT-ST (reinforced strider) rockets on side "weak point" doesn't work because those rockets are on a little platform holding them in place and sometimes game makes it that you shoot off that platform rather than hitting rocket and obviously all that does is blow rockets off their sides without blowing up and thus they live

Rapid firing the purifier is for emergency(close range combat) only, its rapid fire(uncharged shots) have a little less damage than Scorcher. You're losing damages and wasting ammos.

If give termite grenades an extra second before throwing them they are way more likely to stick, I realize obviously lot of the time you're looking for quick actions and reactions and destroying enemies fast as possible, however the mechanics behind it are that termites stick due to these spikes/prongs that deploy from termite a second after you pull them out and not immediately so big reason not sticking is because how quickly you throw them those spikes don't have time to deploy before you're letting them fly

pairing the purifier with guard dog is really good, at least on bugs, I'd suspect it's good on bots as well, since it has medium pen now. Whatever you don't kill, guard dog will probably finish it off

28:30 Yes :), shooting factory strider dropships has saved me several times. Part of why the recoilless is hands down the best support weapon for automatons. In fact, you can pretty easily solo an eradication mission by just sitting next to a resupply and animation canceling to shoot down all of the dropships.

Answer for your question - No, you're not crazy. Heavy armours were buffed in yesterday's update, as well as light armours: Heavy Armour now reduces 25% damage taken instead of 20% Light Armour increases damage taken by 25% now, instead of 33% - 8% less damage taken As for the Purifier, it's honestly amazing now, you CAN 2 tap reinforced scout striders by shooting their legs or the bottom part of their body with fully charged shot and it clears swarms so well. Anyway, loved the video

I have also thought about how to make the game worth grinding for/more fun long term. Instead/besides of making a prestige system, grinding more XP, unlocking new skins, ranks etc. why don't you actually put something awesome into the game like being able to upgrade your stratagems temporarily for a match. Imagine you have collected like 30/50/100 medals or so and/or so many requesition slips and then you can actually spend them on a temporary upgrade for a single mission or campaign but something very awesome like I don't know... Being able to fire a nuke in a mission, having reduced cooldown for a single mission on a stratagem so you can fire it extremely often during that mission. Having increased health for a mission, having an awesome set of armor for a mission, making the orbital precision strike twice or even thrice as deadly by increasing its explosion radius/damage for that mission... Just think of all the stratagems there are already and imagine being able to spend your currently useless currency on amazing upgrades like that on all your stratagems so you can play some normal missions and once you gathered enough, its time for a super fun one and have some OP stuff happening in a match! It's a PvE game after all! Just had to get this off my chest as I didn't see anyone talking/chatting about that idea. 🙂

Absolotely maybe try it on bugs frist then go back to bot for more exp on the gun first. On bots you need trigger desipen and gun handling in general so if you gonna test out new gun that you never touch gather the exp on the gun first before go to botfront

Honestly it feels better but still not good. Rn the explosive crossbow is really the only good bot weapon, and it’s entirely cause of the armored striders they added being wayy to tanky with how many there always is. If you don’t use the crossbow then you need to compensate with a support weapon or you’re really gunna struggle. On top of them being the biggest threat outside of the giant walkers because their rocket has absurd damage, knockback, and no indicator like the rocket devastators. They should’ve never replaced walkers entirely with them, it should’ve been mixed in, like 2 or 3 would be the armored variant in a group. I mean the purifier does less damage at full charge then the crossbow and has about the same aoe, potentially smaller, on top of being 2 handed. Not saying other weapons aren’t usable against bots but other weapons still feel underpowered to meet the demands. And it didn’t feel that way before we got the armored walkers.
