2024 Jeep Wrangler Review: Sport S with These Options is the Best Deal!

I took some time to walk around the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S with the convenience package and the automatic transmission. This also has the 3.6L v6 which is one of the best motors for this.

Great review. I am in the market for a new car. Leaving my Q5 for a bit of nostalgia (I loved Jeep as a teenager) and a look to the next chapter of my life…semi retirement and much MORE recreational living. I prefer the look of this model BUT suspect that I need the storage capacity of the Sahara.

Thanks for the video. I'm actually planning to order the 2025 6-speed manual engine (when it becomes available to order sometimes at the end of 2024) with manual doors. I just like a basic car as I'm planning to keep it for a lifetime.

Can't believe you can't get a Wrangler Sport or Sport S in a V6 automatic. I do not like "turbo charged" lol 4 bangers. Bottom line they don't last and if they're so great why aren't they in the Rubicon's?? Take that 'turbo charger' OFF then we'll talk.

You can get the V6 with auto or manual. But the auto adds $4500 on jeeps website. It's cheaper to get the 2.0T if you want automatic.

How do the torque curves of the V6 & 4cl compare?

Thats something worth talking about, Id say the V6 always had that low end punch that the 4cyl needed about 3000 rpm for the turbo to deliver. Acceleration felt more exciting in the 4cyl and more daily driver "fun". Neck and neck honestly

You definitely feel the torque from the turbo in the 4 cylinder. I traded a 6 cylinder cherokee, but did test a few wrangler 6's. I opted for the 4 cylinder turbo, I like the snap. 😊

If you HAVE TO PUT lol a turbo charger on a 4 banger there's something wrong. Good luck after 70k miles. V6 all the way everyday.

Turbo at 6 or 8k ft ele runs the same as at sea level. Tye Sport S is now, well attractive. Inside is a big step up. Good review, LJ.👍👍😎😎 - Heard steering has been changed to a firmer feel. Better hwy manners.

Good perspective. I received my 2024 4dr Willy last week and it’s been a blast so far! I purposely didn’t add any options on mine to save some cash. At the end of the day remote start, keyless entry I can get aftermarket a lot cheaper if I really wanted those options. I feel like it’s more of an want and not need in my situation. If someone is considering one and on a budget. I would only recommend the convenience package that’s the only package that seems worth it in my opinion.

Vacations to Arizona I rent wrangler sport s 4 door and always average 28 with 4 turbo on hwy in 2 wheel drive. Don’t understand low numbers others experience.
