@@zachcate7102 youre right, but he still doesnt use perks properly and realistically so it still isnt a good showcase of a weapons capabilities. i.e. he uses bait and switch weapons and keeps shooting after bns runs out, only uses cascade point once per weapon, doesnt pick up more orbs for explosive light etc.

Thank you so much for all the resources, you've put out so much info already but other vids I would def be interested in: Recommended loadouts/rotations where you have sacrificed a weapon slot for add clear/objectives. I'm, mostly a solo joining pugs or pulling more casual friends and I don't think I'm personally good enough to be doing loadout swaps AND generating enough ammo and super for something like izi/shotgun or witherhoard/sniper WHILE ALSO trying to carry objectives when the groups I play with are extremely random. Recommended loadouts split by either particular fights or DPS lengths, ie: - Recs for generic 15-30s damage dump (atheon, rhulk, captain avarokk) - recs for staggered damage phases (caretaker, planets, taniks, golgoroth) - Close Range / Long range / No Precision vs Precision Multiplier fights / Wizard floating in the sky swinging back and forth Total Damage recs when you need to carry a fireteam & PUG recs for what you would bring when you either need to carry underperforming members with total damage or what you would bring to a group who might be missing support or debuff options. I can and do cobble stuff together based on what you've made for everyones vs what I'm comfortable doing myself, but I also just enjoy watching videos on these topics. thanks again d( '.' )b

I was going to ask about mixing Horseman Impetus Edge into Warden's Edge with a loadout swap during super, but I think it'd just be better to do the whole Horseman rotation and add one swap/Lucky Pants dump at the end if the DPS phase is still ongoing, because you can have 3x void surge for the entire Edge Transit reserves and then 3x kinetic surge for the Lucky Pants dump. Otherwise you'd lose some DPS or total to splitting surges, which is probably not worth trying to squeeze a second Lucky Pants dump into the rotation, probably? This is why I like these videos, they get the noggin movin'

A lot of the higher ranking rotations here involve heavy use of dodges or icarus dash. Isn't that a nightmare for a full team to be doing in a well? How many of these are actually practical for a team to implement on something like the upcoming day 1, or is this more something to consider in low man situations where there's less risk of dodging in front of someone's grenade launcher shot? Or is it not as big of a deal as I think?

If your team is coordinated, it's not bad at all as everyone has their own spot to stand, and own direction to dodge. But if you're in an LFG trying to dps with dodges, just swap to something else.

Remember you starting to get into the speedrunning stuff where all 6 people doing very specific stuff. In practicality for lfg your probably better doing what your comfortable with and most experience is going to be izi bas edge as there most reliable damage

On a rewatch you're right, the hunter rotations aren't really dodging that much and making more use of impetus, and marksman's dodge doesn't really send you that far regardless. For Izi Nessa Edge on Strand Hunter I would probably recommend Mothkeepers with Ascent for free Damage, this also saves some time because you don´t have to move the Camera. 3 Reloads plus Dodge is more than enough to empty Edge.

for the izi, 140, b&s/cascade rotation, would it be better to use a 72 rpm sniper like frozen orbit instead since you’re only firing one izi and one void sniper shot? i imagine the difference wouldn’t be massive but in terms of min/maxing. frozen can get auto loading vorpal which could be beneficial

I guess we can do most of them, but we will have to use the grapple + thread of ascend + thread of generation, at least if you use a heavy GL like edge transit the damage should give you the grenade back before it needs to be reloaded. But I will say compared to the options Hunter and Warlocks got it does look kind of grim for us

Something I think would be really helpful if you knew how and were up for it is making a line graph that shows the dps vs total damage so for burst dps encounters we know what’s the play and for long damage phases or high health targets we know what’s meta. Basically you’d have time on the x and damage on the y and it would allow us to see where these builds fall and where the equilibrium of damage is for people who don’t wanna have to run multiple builds and can just stick to one.

Out of curiosity, are your damage numbers for deconstruct based on the theoretical, or do they take into account the problems with hitting templar? Is it possible that it will do more damage if you are able to hit all shots and proc deconstruct consistently?

Why don't you test out when activities have surges or overcharges? Something like pantheon deals with surges, so what if another rotation completely overpowers the meta bc of a surge, or better yet, what if one of the rotations with no surges or overcharges beats out one with the surges?

Because its annoying af to copy said said surge into a rotation. He will have to go through hoops of finding a master raid or pantheon boss then have the surge of that week fit in and then find a boss to test on and then allocate dmg loss from being under powered and avoiding things like classy warfare etc. And it's basic common sense normally on what's gna be meta depending on surge

Btw aegis it seems like the reason why malf had less dps than wardens was mainly user error. Looking at the swaps of both you were perfect with wardens but with malf it definitely was a bit more sluggish, like when you paused abit befire shooting nessas and the melee grenade throw was done abit slower. If done right malf should be a direct upgrade in dps and damage as it does 4.78% more dmg than wardens and the handling difference is negligible. I think you should match its time with wardens maybe make it a tiny bit longer just so dps numbers match up as the malf rotation from your graph seems to be over a second longer or 2

I decided to do the most useless calculation ever and luckypants malf takes 5.66 seconds to shoot 18 shots while wardens takes 5.84 seconds to shoot 26. Yea that's negligible af ignore that part

Newbie question: nearly all of these are double special. When not in a boss damage phase do you also run around with zero primary weapons? If you're switching before the damage phase wouldn't your special ammo be zero since the game punishes you for switching from Primary ammo weapon to a special weapon? Other than that this is an amazing video, I need a crafted Nessa lol Also, again stupid question, I'm not seeing you switched exotics during your rotations - is that being edited out? I only saw you switch a couple of times in this video.

Essentially yes, when not in the damage phase you run double special. Generally raid enemies aren't terribly tough to handle with just your abilities. If you really want a weapon that can clear adds, you can run something like a forbearance or indebted kindness and then swap special weapons when going into the damage phase, as switching from special to special is only around a 20% ammo loss as opposed to losing all of it like you do when switching from primary to special. As for the missing exotic swaps, I think all of the pyrogale and celestial clips involved popping the super with the exotic on and then swapping exotics before the beginning of the clip

Typically you'd just run double special for the whole activity when possible; while it no longer drops extra heavy ammo, you still get more power out of that setup than you would most primary setups, provided you have certain things that supplement the ammo economy. That includes things like Aeons and Cenotaph Mask (excess heavy can be used to clear stuff that you'd otherwise use special on), Lead from Gold, the Special Finisher armor mod, particular highly-efficient specials like trace rifles, and having good ability-based add clear such as Sunbracers. Swapping from special weapon to special weapon costs barely any ammo. If you're not comfortable doing double special, most of these rotations can be done with any given energy primary and only minor changes (mainly the shotgun-swap ones and Fourth Horseman would have trouble adapting to that). Or just do Lucky Pants lol.
