This Christian view of men using the submissive wife as a means of abuse is getting very old and tiresome for society. Headship has nothing to do with control or power. It's about protection and being an example of true leadership, by example. They are using the word submissive beyond the definition of taking them into consideration, which was the original definition. In the Bible says that men are supposed to not only submit to God, but submit to their wives as well. In fact, women are simply told to submit to their husbands, but men are actually told to lay down their lives as an example like Jesus did. ... Someone with understanding knows to be a Christian everyone must be willing to give up parts of themselves like Jesus did to help others. 🙄🤷‍♀️ It's sick what these men do and claim that they represent any form of the Holy Spirit.

Soo, since the topic of religious abuse came up. And I had to learn the scripture to defend myself against these scriptural abusers. I became a damn Bible theologian. 😂🤷‍♀️ Matthew chapter 10 is the chapter (all in red by Jesus) where it says that he didn't come to put us together he came to divide us. Anybody who honors another person before they honor their own God doesn't deserve their God. Daughter-in-law against mother-in-law, mother against son, daughter against father, siblings against siblings, a man's biggest enemies will be within their own home. That's what Matthew 10 says. It tells you not to be a respecter of persons or titles. And it ends with a statement saying that only those that heed the prophets warning get the prophets reward, and only those who hear the righteous person speaking truth can partake in the righteous reward. ... You and I both know even a toddler could be that righteous speaker of Truth. But people like you're speaking of would never look twice at such a messenger. 🌺🌺🌺 Although it's dark and cold in Ohio right now, my hibiscus bloomed today. 😊
