I think the reason Goten and Trunks unlocked SSJ so easily compared to the Goku, Vegeta and Gohan, is because they were both born AFTER their fathers unlocked SSJ, so in their DNA, some SSJ gene must've passed on when they were both conceived. I don't think they ever explained this in the show but this is the only way it happening makes sense to me

You're just about right. Toriyama said there's something called S-Cells. And Goten and Trunks were born with particularly more S-Cells than their predecessors. That's the official explanation. So you basically guess correctly 😅

I always equated Goten & Trunks being able to access Super Saiyan so early due to them being conceived after Goku & Vegeta both respectively mutated/evolved to the level of a Super Saiyan so it reflected stronger in their DNA. I think it shows in how they were born without tails unlike Gohan since they were born at a level where the tail wasn’t necessary for their evolution. Idk if there’s an official explanation but that’s what works for me lol

Goten is one of the most underrated characters in Dragon Ball. I know he tends to get overshadowed by his father Goku and his brother Gohan, but I wish he had more to do. Goten's like his mom ChiChi. There's so much hidden potential that's just waiting to be unleashed. 😊 I love that first meeting between father and son too. ❤ Goku and Goten are such an adorable duo! 🥰 Same goes for Goten and Trunks. What separates trunks and Goten from the others is that they have active moms that either encourage or don't discourage their training. they are actually the only two saiyans we see raised by their mothers. This could also explain why the Universe 6 saiyans transformed easily as well

The reason he got super Saiyan easily is because according to the writer a Saiyan becomes super Saiyan because of s cells and the nicer you are the more s cells you have that's why Goku became super Saiyan before vegeta and since goten is part human it makes him nicer and loaded with s cells

I have a theory on why Goten can become a saiyan at much younger age I think it might Goten was conceived when goku was super saiying which is the reason why goten is very powerful and might have more potential than trunks, since trunks trains with vegeta inside a gravity chamber while goten trains in martial arts with chi chi in the wilderness, when goku and trunks fought they were nearly evenly match so goten has more potential than trunks
