He neglects his family so much in Boruto because he doesn’t create that balance until later in life. It could just be Kodachi’s terrible writing that made him such a bad father initially but still.

The only thing I would change is at the end I'd make Sasuke the hokage because they're both comparable in strength but making an Uchiha hokage would finally close the resentment of the Uchiha forever. But since most of them died I don't think it really matters I just like it for the symbolism and Sasuke is a edgelord in this version.

This story feels like completely different from how the characters would act, watching 700 episodes of the show can kind of give you the understanding of how they actually would. It reminds me of the movie where Obito casts a tsukiyomi on naruto and sakura and the characters change how they act and so does the whole timeline. Nonetheless, the story was weird, kinda dissappointing but still fun to watch.
