@@marshmellow66kaw i agree my friend, i wish there will be a season two because I just simply love hiro and 02’s relationship. I think there will be a season two because the first season did left us on a cliff hangar when they said a new story begins. I binge watched this show when I first watched it. It was a great show full of character development but they did made it dominate the plot. I think this show definitely will be even better if they are able to balance out the plot and the character development. I’m honestly fine if they lengthen the 1st season because the ending won’t be rushed and ending up being a fantastic anime. I honestly prefer this anime over demon slayer. Demon slayer had 0 character development and the plotline isn’t very good either while darling in the franxx has plenty of character development and has a plotline with huge potential. The ending of 02 and Hiro dying really hits hard but the fact that the ending was so rushed, the anime made me felt empty handed at the end.

I think the first season should be rewritten completely with the exception of the relationships between Hiro and Zero-Two, and Ichigo and Goro until ep 15, they should completely scrap the idea of space battles against the aliens and maybe do it in season 2, the first season should be about Plantation 13 kids becoming more and more independent and questioning APE`s decisions eventually causing a revolution where they could ally with other plantation and convincing them to not be obedient anymore and fight for freedom, that from ep 15 onward. Also there must be some changes to the plot holes explaining better how they`re universe works and why is everything as it is. Also in the end they could fight the 9`s squad which would be allies of Papa giving a Robot vs Robot fight, and also the season should be longer than 24 episodes because as you all saw it was a very forced and fast forwarded ending, plus the fight in space should not even be discussed in the first season because until ep 19-20 the action was only on Earth it`s a shitty plot twist also there should be more attention to the secondary characters especially they`re personality at Zorome, Futoshi, Kokoro, Ikuno, Mitsuru, Miku, and also in the ending some of them could die, for ex: Mitsuru dying because he sacrificed himself to help Hiro in a Franxx to get to Zero-Two or something in order to make em more important i don`t know that with what happened in this season could be made a second one if it`s not different who agrees ?

I totally agreed, althought the anime was already rewritten in the manga. While it lack some very fun moments from the anime (like the boys vs girls episode) the manga did some changes that made the story alot better: - 9's are introduced early and they have a fight against Zero Two and Hiro when they go on their third battle (obs: in the manga, mitsuru never rides with Zero Two, because Hiro changes his mind and goes with her, making his development a little more natural). - Princess klaxosaur is also introduced early and is the main villain in whole story (the aliens are mentioned in flashback). She's the one who manipulates Zero Two, causing her to go beserk and almost killing Hiro and is the one who the parasites have to defeat gran crevasse, with Hiro reuniting with Zero Two and the evolution of Strelizia representing their love overcoming Princess (episode 15 is the final battle in the manga). - Hiro talking to Zero Two about riding with her for a third time it happened in the bathroom, with both naked, visually representing their mind states: they are both vunerable and open to each other, with Zero Two given Hiro a chance to walk away and live while he reveals his courage and determination to help her. - Hiro and Ichigo's kiss happened during the beach, when they were walking together, which fits the foreshadow in the episode but is a much better ocassion for Ichigo to do this then when Hiro was sad for what happened between him and Zero Two in episode 14. Speaking of which... - Episode 14 is complete filler. Not only Ichigo doesn't stop Zero Two from seeing Hiro but she leaves the group by her own choice, feeling guilty for almost killing her darling. Also when Hiro wakes up he tells his friends about what the grown ups did with him and Zero Two and they all decide to go against them and help Hiro reunite with Zero Two. Also it's Mitsuru who helps Hiro get to Strelizia instead of Ichigo, which not only completes their arc but also, Mitsuru, after hearing Hiro revelation about his memories, he actually forgives him and that has huge impact on him, with Mitsuru cutting his hair to represent this change.
